Look, I love Zuc and what he's done for us but we moved on from him and I want youngsters to have plenty of ice time come next season and Zuc would block them

lol I added a first by accident. Was meant to be a 1 for 1. Even so, I decided to remove the deal as I looked into Nylander and he’s at least a regular, unlike Lias.

The reaction of John Davidson alone tells me we’re keeping this pick and using it on Laf. He looked like a kid on Christmas morning when talking about Lafreniere.

he doesnt want to sign with the oilers my man, you arent getting anything top end for a player who dosent want to be on the Oilers, they dont have trade leverage

You haven't seen Puljujarvi in Quinn's system though...
Adjust for how much Pionk "improved" this year. That's how big of an impact the system has.

PIPE DOWN
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>NYR_Mike</b></div><div>The meat of this deal is you are getting our 2nd best prospect, if not our 1st. This deal is incredibly fair, with that being said though I don't think the Leafs deal Nylander. Like you have stated above, the value on Nylander's deal has gone up since he has produced.
Still think the offer is fair though.</div></div>
Oh I never said anything about it not being fair. Just that it doesn't make sense from a Leafs perspective because it does not address their greatest need.
I suppose it could be argued that any pieces coming back in a deal like that could be used to acquire what they really need, but that is just more moving parts to an already uncertain future.
I get where you are coming from completely. I just don't think that the Leafs would be onboard. They seem to value their high priced fly-boys to the degree that something like this never transpires.

He had so much raw talent on display freshman year, and this past year he just played like an oaf</div></div>
yea, i thought it was funny when i seen so many ranger fans putting miller in next season starting line up. many are already putting him in their top 4 without watching him play lol. he'll get a good chance in hartford next season to prove himself. wisconsin had so much talent it's hard to believe the bad season they had. miller made a good decision leaving, we'll find out fast if he's able to adapt to the pro game in the ahl.

Quarantine time killing
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>DiehardRedWingsFan58</b></div><div>Name me one reason why Cirelli would leave a cup contending team in Tampa for the likes of the Rangers? First off the taxes are cheaper here in Florida and New York City has among the highest taxes in the world. So he'd make less there then here. Tampa is much closer to the cup then the Rangers. So yeah why would he leave Florida for New York.</div></div>
Ok, I’ll dance...
Panarin had the same opportunity to dodge taxes and go to Miami to a team projected to be better than the Rangers and he passed on it. You’re talking the like 5-8% taxes for NY and NYC. It’s not a life altering amount of money to pass on when you’re talking about millions of dollars per year these guys make. It matters to some, but not every player. I don’t believe you have any insight whatsoever as to Cirelli’s financial or economic beliefs or situation to have the right to tell us what he will choose.
Take Cirelli out of Tampa and tell me how much better Tampa is that the Rangers for the next 5-8 years. Stamkos and Hedman are on the wrong side of 30. They’ve run their organization thin with low draft picks and trading away picks. They still have good players in their system and have historically been a great drafting team but Yzerman is gone - is it a sure thing that will continue?
Cirelli could join a NY team on the upswing featuring a duo in Zibanejad and Panarin that is just as formidable as Kucherov and Point. Kakko, Kravstov, Lundkvist, DeAngelo, Fox, Trouba and Buchnevich all under 26 is a bright future - what’s Tampa’s future when this window closes? And how much longer does it stay open?
So don’t talk like you woke up in Gary Bettman’s underwear this morning. Have a little humility and consider another perspective before you pop off like you’re the only person sitting around with an internet connection and an opinion.
