Maybe, but that's also why I took two centres for one, that way they wouldn't have too many centres.

I give feedback on here for fun so I'm not mad but I don't see the Wings doing that trade. They need the picks & younger guys not older ones.</div></div>
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Alfie11</b></div><div>Gibson is a 28yo AHL journeyman who is a decent 3rd stringer at best. Mandolese is a 20yo rookie pro who only played 9 games and is only a year removed from QMJHL goalie of the year. And the whole point of having forsberg is to let gustavsson develop in the ahl for another year to work on his consistency (and get more reps than he would as a backup), as well as give him some competition for the backup job so nobody gets gifted anything.</div></div>
1) Well thank you, I appreciate the feedback, and yeah, looking back on it, its not as good as I though.
2) You make a good point. I see what I've done wrong, now that you point it out.

Yeah, I noticed the UFA signing too, quite a bit looking back on it. Dadanov could probably go for less, I agree with that now, but I traded the likes of Forsburg because he's mediocre, just like in Chicago, plus it would give way for Gustavsson, then I traded away Mandolese because his stats were not very good, plus C.Gibson is looking better then him.

Another Random Kings Rebuild
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>PuckLuck_77</b></div><div>I like the effort. Couple of pieces of constructive criticism currently.
1) The most blatant is Roy only going for a 2nd round pick. He's currently worth more than that by a significant amount. He wouldn't bring back what Muzzin brought (1st, roster player, prospect), but it's closer to that than just a second. Even then, the Kings likely wouldn't trade him, and Brandon Montour is a straight downgrade.
2) I like the idea of Vince Dunn much more than I like the idea of Keith Yandle. Yandle struggled to stay in the lineup for Florida, and now you're throwing him on the top pair with Doughty. I think his top-line days are long gone.
3) Calgary says no to that trade in a heartbeat, as others have already suggested.
4) Saad is a good addition, and the contract isn't terrible. Danault, on the other hand, doesn't have a place in LA. With Byfield likely to make the team next year (they won't send him back to juniors after a year of playing in the AHL), and Vilardi, the team is set for those two to battle for 2C and 3C. Your 4C spot will be taken by Jaret Anderson-Dolan, who had a very good showing this past year and has earned a roster spot. Other centers soon to fight for a roster spot include Kupari, Turcotte, Akil Thomas, etc. So Danault just doesn't make sense. If anything, I'd take what you offered him, and find a different winger to try to give some more scoring touch in the top-6.
5) Alex Laferriere =/= Alexis Lafreniere. The kid just finished his season in the USHL, and I doubt he's even ready for the AHL much less the NHL. He won't jump over wingers like Kaliyev or ****emo, who will both come to camp looking to push players like Austin Wagner or Brendan Lemieux out of roster spots.</div></div>
THank you so much for the input, I do appreciate it. Looking back on everything, yeah, I definitely have some things to improve. I do actually agree with you about all these points, I never though about it but yeah, Danault wouldn't really have a place in LA, and Lafreniere show stay in the AHL level for now.

You rebuilt the team older and less defensively sound but I agree with adding Saad or someone similar.</div></div>
Now that you point that out, probably could have kept Roy, and get something better then Yandle, but yeah, Saad is a solid player. I still don't know why Chicago Traded him... Twice.

I can see the Los Angeles trade if for some reason Seattle selects Jonathan Quick, but not otherwise. Besides, I was under the impression that Columbus expects Merzlikins to be their #! goalie for the foreseeable future. In any event, we would owe the Blue Jackets a better C prospect, like Akil Thomas or even Jaret Anderson-Dolan.
A belated welcome to CapFriendly, by the way.</div></div>
Yeah, I asked for way too much looking back on it. I agree with the LA trade as well, I feel like it could be Korlipso instead of Merzlikis, but I feel like Columbus could also capitalize on that potential as well, and maybe get a better goalie in the process.

The New Blackhawks Attempt 2
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Beetlejuice</b></div><div>Murray is washed and Ottawa would have to pay to move him, Barrie isn't good his stats are inflated by Mcdavid. Buffalo isn't paying for another RHD so Murphy can get a late 1st and a mid teir prospect. Keith isn't a top pair D man anymone, and Zadorov can get a lot more.</div></div>
Now that I look back at this, I agree with some of your points. Barrie and Murray are players we might be better without, Buffalo probably might not do the trade, and yeah, Keith and Seabrook are getting older, Seabrook is pretty much done at this point, Keith is gonna follow soon, so he could play a smaller role, maybe letting Dunn or someone else play the time, and I feel like Zadorov might be good, but I still don't think he was worth the value in the Saad Trade, but I can agree he does have some value. Do you think the rest of the trades are justifiable though?

The New Blackhawks Attempt 2
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>SlickWilly</b></div><div>I think St Louis matches that but I haven't been paying attention to Dunn's performance this season. No real reason to trade for Murray as he's been pretty bad this season, and I'd keep Stillman as he is young and has shown decent potential here. Could probably get a little more for Murphy but not from Buffalo unless they are REALLY scrambling to make Eichel happy</div></div>
Yeah thats fair, probably could offer Dunn more, he's on pace for a good point total, Murray has shown to be a good player, and because he's playing poorly it would be easier to trade for less, I feel like he could bounce back with a better team. Stillman could be good, could have kept him but would rather give more time to Beaudin and Mitchell, and yeah maybe a bit more for Murphy but a second from Buffalo isn't terrible, but you do make some valid points.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Jco5ta5</b></div><div>There’s so much wrong with this idk where to start. Some of the trade values are way off. You don’t trade Murphy and Stillman for those picks and you don’t get Murray for that value.
Where’s Hagel?</div></div>
Firstly, Hagels in the Minors. Secondly, I never really liked Murphy all that much, especially since I'm getting Barrie and playing Mitchell, Stillmans records are mediocre, and Murray is more of a cap dump for Ottawa, but your right, they should be given more value. The reason for the lesser value is because I did a GM-Armchair and got Murray I was criticized for giving up too much, so I was a bit more conservative. What would you suggest I do then, I'm a bit new to all this, and you seem to have a better understanding too.
