<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>jempey82</b></div><div>Your values are low by a bit on Samsonov and by a bit more on Bunting and Zucker.
I like the thought of some of these moves. But values aren’t there. You only have a 21 man roster with no cap space so you are in major trouble if you have someone injured.
Lastly, you can’t just assume Murray will be on LTIR. Can’t just stash him there without him actually being hurt. Sure he likely ends up missing half the season. But can’t just assume that. You have to factor his 4.6 mil into your plan, and see it as a bonus if you can stash him at some point.</div></div>
Values on contracts are directly from evolving hockey's Cap Projections model and I used there assumed most likely term stated by them.
21 man roster is not ideal but at the same time injuries usually result in a player being put on LTIR which lets you call up Holmberg, Robertson, Anderson.
Fair point on Murray, but having him on LTIR, bought out or traded is more likely then him playing in 23-24 in my opinion as of today.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>MorHitzSeider</b></div><div>Sandin as a 7D? Come on man. Why not make Woll backup goalie and spend more money on the players you've lowballed like Bunting, Kampf and Acciari? Where's Knies? Buyout Murray. Why do you need Zucker and Mayfield? Benn or Mete can be a 7D.
Cap is only going up 1 mil. 83.5 mil.</div></div>
If you have in writing that its only going up 1 mil you should tell all the Gm's and agents out there, you don't actually know and neither do I so stating that is idiotic.
Sandin hasn't proved himself to be better then any of the players ahead of him on the left side and he can't play the right side.
Woll is unproven. I'd way rather have options in net then shoot myself in the foot going into the season banking on Samsonov and Woll. Ever hear of an injury before? It can happen.
Kampf and Accari aren't low balls, bunting is about a 500k discount but you can argue hes a product of his opportunity and won't have similar success else were.
Knies is yet to sign a contract.....
Why pay to buy out murray when the leafs have deep pockets and can just LTIR him with out taking the buyout penalty.
Zucker and Mayfield fit this teams needs perfectly, you should watch the leafs more before you make ignorant/uneducated comments and you'd understand why they'd need them.
Overall awful opinions from you from start to finish.

Playoff Roster - Net SPAR Increase
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>dannibalcorpse</b></div><div>More than fair, I'd assume the Ducks still jump on it.
Personally, I'd also kick around the idea of keeping Holl and seeing if you can throw an extra 4th/5th to a third team to double-retain JVR down to $1.75M. Put Benn in the AHL for the last quarter of the year and you can keep Holl - I know some Leafs fans hate him, but he puts up solid possession numbers and is a fine bottom-pair guy. I'd rather have to pull him up into the lineup over Benn or Mete if someone gets hurt in the playoffs.</div></div>
Ya your right. Holl's numbers are good. I just dont trust him to be on a team that wants to win the cup. I just don't like him. Stupid bias but its my bias. He is better then Benn and Mete, would much prefer an improvement on that position i just don't know if I could make the salary cap work. I've see n double retention trades shut down in the pass by the league but Id be all for trying it to get the salaries down.

He is still good, shelter his skating by putting him with marner (which I did). He probably would fit this team alot better then you'd expect

Trading Holl though and replacing him with Benn (who is often injured) is likely going to be problematic.</div></div>
This is fair, deep down I just have 0 trust in Holl to preform in games that matter. I honestly dont see a situation where the leafs win more then a round and he's on the roster. I would prefer someone oother then Benn there but the issue is the salary cap.

I defiantly would agree with the 1st rounder in the Henrique deal but I'd switch Minten out then. I think Minten is worth a large amount. Id do like a Hirvonen or equivalent.

Ok but realistically you guys aren't going to resign him, he doesn't fit your window overly well. Under valuing Lily he's growing and will be a good player. I think this is an over pay from TOR. Im not giving you the first and I would say our foolish to not take the deal

Seems like the only player of real value in that trade for Miller is Robertson. Which sorry, isn't going to be enough to take on Holl and get you Miller. I think you have to throw the first in to get this deal to shake out.</div></div>
I really think people are undervaluing Lily and Holl. They are definatly more then worthless throw in's. Lily has great potential, Holl is serviceable probably just worth his contract and not a penny more. I would throw in a 3rd or less but I think its fair value. If proposed irl I feel like Canucks accept.

Ideal leafs lineup
Big fan of these lines. This is the right mindset to get the leafs past the first round. Id personally have the lines as follows:
Ritchie - Matthews - Marner
Nylander - Tavares - Spezza
Bunting - Kerfoot - Kase
Engvall - Kampf - Mikheyev

Like Smith was one of the top goalies in our division. So that must mean Oilers must sign him to A 6 million dollar contract right? I don't think so. They're not letting anyone talk to Freddy for a reason. BC he could get a lot more on the market. If I was him and you guys offered me that. I'd wait till the 28th And easily make double of that.</div></div>
We have the same thought process here but I was going of the news from this morning that was pointing towards the Leafs signing Landeskog and Andersen. If they were doing that then the AAV's I have are the only ways to make it feasible, yes the Landeskog reports have him at much lower AAV's but thats the Avs offer and its criminally low. However looking at more recent news it sounds that Kuemper is the target and Andersen is the back up plan.

? not sure what you would sign him for? He had a horrible season and the leafs literally cant afford to spend anymore then that if they sign Landeskog. Yet the reports are saying Andersen is on the table for the leafs still. Which means it must be at a very very low AAV because that's all the leafs can afford. This is fair, I really was having a hard time determining what you would need and what McCann's trade value is. Also, the pens are closer to the cap then I realized. What do you think you guys need and what would it take to get McCann?
