None of those other teams were willing to move a 1st for him.... Pittsburgh was the only one...

lmfao yup, Kap for Murray is a trade I think both pens fans, and leafs fans can agree upon

Wow. This is a darn good draft for the Devils! Otherwise, it's pretty realistic overall. Could certainly see, Drysdale and Sanderson going back to back (5 & 6). I have a hunch that Detroit may even take Sanderson at 4 to beef up their blue line.

Rielly for Ekblad Explanation included
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Rodzikhockey93</b></div><div>I think Johnsson is a significant upgrade to half of the bottom forwards. He can be placed in a top 6 role as for Acciari Is more successful in the bottom 6.
Florida is addding cap via trade, but reducing cap overall because johnsson will be half the price of one of the Two FAs and can fit in the middle 6. If Vatrano outperforms AJ then swap them. Atleast the Left hand side is solidified and has no voids. I dont see Denisenko making an immediate impact so a guy like Johnsson for now at a cost control contract is fair. Also for financial reasons AJ contract the last 2 years is only 36% of the total contract fee and 750K base salary. More front loaded contract which toronto has teh financial ability to do</div></div>
I asked if you thought AJ could replace Hoffman/Dads and this response is a Yes...at half the cost. I just need to make sure you understand what youre saying.
Im not sure where you're getting you significant upgrade information from. Seems like a simple bias to me. Dubas did a cardinal sin and gave a guy a contract off 1 year of performance. And it was an ok year at that. Now TOR needs to unload him. Were never going to agree on AJ.
I'll belive it when I see it. But what I've seen is that he's a capable 3rd/4th liner. Maybe if an injury occurs he can be a poor man's 2nd liner, but if youre expecting production...forget it.

Huh, the Panthers trade actually makes a lot of sense. I think Toronto's d-core looks pretty good, and it doesn't hurt Florida at all. I like their d-core as well.

While I agree with ur point I can understand some people getting annoyed for people trading like a 1st and Ryan Strome for Jack Eichel (just an example.) what does grind my gears though is when people say in their description unrealistic or I know it won’t happen yet people still lose their minds

#1- Studnika is projected to be a #2C or at worst #3C. Not a #1C. Haven’t seen one scouting report saying that other than Boston fans on this website. And I like studnika. He’s a hometown kid and played on a team with one of my friends. I hope he has a good career but I’m just being realistic
#2- Carlo is not a dominant D lol. He’s a top 4 D. Again, very good, but he’s not a “dominant shutdown force” on the ice

i think while the thought is there... i think krebs gets a spot soon and while asplund is a good get for the GK's i dont think trading their 2c is the right way to do it right now. especially if glass struggles in the nhl. I also think Nick roy has a spot on the roster next year and isnt a healthy scratch all year yet again.

Settle a debate I'm having with my friends
Why bring Ayers into the discussion, he had a NHL team in front of him.
The 5 NHLers skaters would dominate the 5 Beer leaguer skaters, and get excellent scoring opportunities every 20 seconds. No reason the NHLers wouldn't score two goals a minute.

I think fabbro has that extra year of proven development 17-18 and 18-19 at BU. and then didnt flop when given 19m in that 4th d spot. Where Liljegren kind of plateaued last year and had a better year this year for the marlies. I think the difference is liljegren is looked at more outside of toronto as an offensive dman, and fabbro is looked at more of a 2 way with a high upside offensive ability.
