dont worry, dude skates like my grandpa. luckily the kids got an F***ing rocket shot. But realistically think about 10+ after this season, the season where he held out on signing to prove himself and he does that....100% would rather have a guy like pasta (just for comparison) whos making around 6.6 AAV and whos play overall is monumentally better (granted hes very underpaid). I really dont see Laine getting close to 10

Patrick laine is a joe average player with an above average shot, pretty even trade. Hes got alot of room to improve but hes very overrated rn

hes a very streaky player, I think he played so well after being traded because he was mad he got traded from his hometown. He clearly thought he deserved more playing time in boston but his play didnt show that he was right. i dont think this is the worst idea in terms of value. I dont think MIN should get rid of him though

agree to disagree i guess. but id rather pay Karlsson (who deserves that contract) than pay pavelski to be a role model, theyve got plenty of guys to fill that role

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Maniac23</b></div><div>Well that's ridiculous... I think Karlsson will face reality this offseason (max. 9M) and so will Krug next year. I love Krug and don't want him to leave, but 7-7.5M is his value, everthing above is to much.
The most ridiculous thing about Karlsson (and Krug?) is that they want 7-8 year deals... Thank you, but no thank you. They are not worth it. Both are smaller guys and not free from injuries.</div></div>
Also, per nhl.discussion (take that to be as credible as you want) The sharks are closing on an 8 year $11mil AAV with Karlsson as we speak

Quiet Off-Season
I think this is very realistic, Maybe tinker with that NJ trade but youre def right about them trying to develop our young guys and then trade at the deadline if need be. I think something like this is most likely going to happen. Maybe try and get rid of Miller (as much as i like him as a player I think theyre going to try and get rid of him to clear some space for a player who can stay healthy). I think that McAvoy and Heinen could potentially each get alittle more. Overall B+/A-
