You're over the cap with a full roster, and you're trading Backes and Heinen for Perry in the lineup. Heinen is the best player out of those 3. Have you watched Perry since like 2015?

Mc Avoy and Carlo are most logical 3 year bridge deals .. OR if I were Bruins .. I would lock one of them up LT now as both are staples for next 10 years. And huge no on Perry .. also Heinen stinks so Ok with that trade .. Bruins still need 2nd and 3rd line scorers .. that should be trade focus .. Sweeney got magic touch after Coyle and Johannssen this year .. without those 2 Bruins dont get out of 1st round

Would love to hear why Heinen stinks lol. I'm guessing you look at his point totals and that's it.

id send backes with a 1st anywhere and just end that mistake now. this team needs to win now and it might already be too late. Get his 6 million off the books and use it on Nyquist or Johansson or zucarello I dont care but they need production out of it that backes cant give you. I know people are down on Heinen but hes a middle 6 winger and still sort of cheap for 35 or 40 pts. Not everyone turns into a superstar but he isn't useless and hes depth which you need.

Johansson was the best TDL acquisition this year, he's looked pretty good for Boston.

Maybe in points, but Johanssons ability to slow down the play and create something out of nothing has been unreal, his confidence is through the roof. Love both of them (and coyle has been sooooo clutch) but would take Johansson's playoff performance over Coyles easily.
