Why would you EVER break up Martin-Cizikas-Clutterbuck?
Ladd is out for season, and even if he wasn’t, if scratch him each night. Finally Pelech for Hickey. Otherwise pretty good,

LA would never trade him for a 5th, even if that is what he’s worth. It’ll probably be a 3rd with money retained.

Than we make it a 3rd or 4th, the point is it’s time to get rid of that contract.

Kreider is accident prone and is gonna be a lot worse without Zucc, he’s also gonna demand a ton of money in 1 year. Cizikas is a great defensive center to build a 3rd or 4th line around, and he has a great contract!!

Kreider’s contract ends in 1 Year he still has yet to score 30 in any of his seasons (regardless if he was injured this year or not), Cizikas is a great defensive forward and just put up 20. His contract lasts another 3 or 4 seasons, I’d trade Kreider for him any day of the week.

Since Strome has been traded to New York hes been the best all around center, now that Zucc is gone DJ Zbad’s production has gone way down. No need to be a Stromer hater.

Karlsson instead of Panarin

Also, instead of paying Smith almost $5m to keep the bench warm, why not trade him and Staal and then sign Panarin too. Oh and Shattenkirk has some value, you need to trade him for A pick or two, and you won’t carry his buyout cost. Problem solved.</div></div>
Right after I finished making this I realized I put him on the wrong side, he should be with Skjei on the top pairing and second would be Deangelo and Libor.

Retool not Rebuild pt 2
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Shakabakes</b></div><div>Hayes just got $5.1M for his final arbitration year. Even though he will just now hit 50 points for the 1st time ever (Kreider will do it for the 2nd time this year) with only one Season of over 20 goals (Kreider has 4 Seasons over 20). I understand Center is a more important position. But production wise, if I got like Hayes can get $5.1 now for less Offensive production, Kreider might end up closer to $7M than you think.</div></div>
Hayes playes pk, pp, and is a better all around player than kreider that’s why he’s gonna command that money. Outside of finally clicking with DJ Zbad Kreider was beginning to become a bust. He’ll get 5,500,000 to 6,350,000

Retool not Rebuild pt 2
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Shakabakes</b></div><div>They are not giving away a 20 year old Center during a rebuild, to another rebuilding team, just to turn a 3rd into a 2nd. That's terrible asset management.
With the exception of Shestyorkin (who will still be on his ELC and not making that much by then) you lowballed every other deal.
Karlsson close to $10M per year. Kreider closer to $7M per year.
If you're doing 2 year Bridge deals: Lemieux at $1.5 per year, DeAngelo $2.5M per (at least), Pionk at $1.75M, Buchnevich close to $3M per (and I see all 3 of then getting at least 3 year deals leading towards the Expansion Draft).
Not resigning Namestnikov or Vesey.
Nieves maybe worth $2.5M combined on a Bridge, not per year.</div></div>
Most of these points are valid, but Kreider isn’t getting 7 mill he still has yet to hit 30 goals in one season

Retool not Rebuild pt 1
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>aspina25</b></div><div>Doughty has an extension that pays 11 a year starting next year...
Howden was a main piece of the Mcdonagh trade and he's only 20. If you don't think he's ready for the NHL, let him develop in the minors instead of wasting him moving from the 3rd to the 2nd.
Assuming you want to keep the theme of bridge deals (which I'm not a fan of) Buch probably gets the same cap% as Kreider got on his, which equates to roughly 3 million.
DeAngelo currently leads defenseman in zone entrys and exits and has a 40 Point pace, he'd probably get a Chychrun type of deal (~4.5 per).</div></div>
Ok, well I didn’t know that about Doughty so I do see your point there. Also Deangelo should have been put on for more money, I think he’s the Rangers best Dman.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>aspina25</b></div><div>1. None of those RFA signings are close to market value
2. Karlsson would cost ~3 million more per year
3. That Howden trade is atrocious</div></div>
Karlsson is based off of the Doughty deal like how nhl tv, bleacher report, ESPN, and numerous other sources say his deal will go down. The Howden trade works and the Rangers don’t have room for him in this “go for the Cup” team. How are the RFA off, example???
