I don't know the names of the awards that Swiss hockey league has, but as far as I know, Salming Trophy goes for the best d-man of the Swedish Hockey League (SHL). And actually no, I did not notice the mistake in Pilut's name. It blends in, really.

I'm pretty sure you're mixing up the Swiss League to Swedish Hockey League. Other is Swedish, other is from Switzerland.

Klingberg + Kane + Jarnkrok = Cup Contention
No. Klingberg is one of the best offensive d-men in the world with probably the best contract in the world. Dallas would be absolutely mad if they'd give you him with that kind of price. Neither of the players you've included in the trade hasn't really shown anything in the big leagues, and those draft picks are not enough of a sweetener.

The trade I'd most like to see with Dallas
No. Rather have Honka over Lind, and much more rather have only one year of Spezza's bad contract than 3 years of Gudbranson's bad contract.

Good trades, but I'm worried about that amount of money you're giving to Van Riemsdyk. There's a risk he'd be our next Spezza after a couple of seasons.

We need more
I like the trades, but I don't think we are in the position to give up our good young assets away. Our prospect pool isn't looking that good. It's decent, but selling big amount of them isn't a good idea in a longer scale.

Dallas do not need that bunch of low line UFAs. Komarov and Read are unnecessary. Probably Grabner as well, if Nichushkin is returning to the team.
You've left a massive amount of good RFAs unsigned. Poor move. For example, Dickinson and Shore are both potential players that has a place in this team.
What comes to this trade, only Nyquist is interesting piece. Jensen and Glendening are needless.
Personally, I'd offer a first rounder and D prospect John Nyberg in exchange to Nyquist.

I see some potential and merit here. This is close to what probably will happen.
But what about Heiskanen, for example? I think he should be in our system next year. Also probably some young guns from AHL, like Hintz or Gurianov should maybe get a chance.
4 stars for solid idea.

Trades with Sharks, Flyers and Oilers
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>goodfella</b></div><div>That's underpayment for Braun imo.
Sharks have a lot of defensive prospects, in fact, half the reason Martin wasn't back in the line up is because Ryan was awesome. Not to mention, Heed is NHL ready, but can't crack the line up. I'm not 100% sure we need more at this point. However, we do need to shed cap space IF we go after Tavares. I think Boedker and Martin will likely be moved. Maybe Dillon.</div></div>
I think there might be a slight underpayment, but considering the fact that SJ needs some cap space and they get two d-prospects I think the deal is fair.

That CBJ trade value-wise is good, but in a longer scale CBJ is going to regret it. They might be unable to resign Karlsson after the next season.

Actually that offer was done a little over 20 minutes ago in one of his post's comment section.

That's much closer... Although Spezza would prevent the deal from happening with to his NMC

Bouncing back in the PLAYOFF... what do we need?
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>DomCholette</b></div><div>Dallas will missed the playoff again has they only have one GREAT lines... the others have hard time to find the net... bringing a real top6 will give them a second top scoring line.
Getting TOP 6 30goals in Pacioretty (great with Radu) for Lindell is fair... + Lekhonen (20G Young Middle 6 like Faksa) + New C in Evans (2nd Best C this year in NCAA) for Faksa replacement as Dallas has 3/4C in Spezza- Hanzal... Faksa become spendable for a younger talented C IMO.</div></div>
Except the goal amounts of both of those players are off. Pacioretty is under 20, and Lehkonen is just above 10. Acquiring them after a bad season is a risk - and it naturally lowers their value.
Stars may get some boost to their offense from this trade - but the amount of minus to their defense is something I don't like at all...

I'd say no. Faksa and Lindell are both smart players, and when they are on the ice, good things happen. This is proven by plus/minus statistics, in which these two are the two leading players. Even though Pacioretty is decent, I would not trade those two assets. After our TOP5 of most valuable players (Benn, Seguin, Klingberg, Radulov and Heiskanen), they're just behind them. Way too important to give away.

Retool w/Lehner
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>too374</b></div><div><a href="/users/Starsfan98" target="_blank">@Starsfan98</a> Forgot to address the McDonagh trade , Tampa is approaching cap hell and yzerman will need to figure out how to keep his younger players. The deal there will see that TB will get 4.7 mil in 2019/20 to resign some key young RFAs on their team. The young players will command less salary then McDonagh who will be 29 when he signs a new deal. What they gave NYR was also for J.T miller who is one of the young players they will want to resign. Also methot is still a quite serviceable d man.</div></div>
Tampa has plenty of other ways to make money, for example by getting rid of Killorn or Callahan. After Coburn and Girardi's terms end, they do have money to resign Kucherov and their young guys, probably even McDonagh, if he agrees to a frugal contract.
If they are not doing that, why shouldn't they trade McDonagh to young prospects?
I personally think that the TB trade was like Namestnikov for Miller and Howden, Hajek and draft picks for McDonagh. He still has so much more value than Methot does, who was sold to Stars with just a 2nd round pick,. It's inconceivable.

I don't think this is a way to go. Stars acquired Bishop to be their number one goalie for many years to come, it's not wise to sell him straight away, even though this season hasn't been that good. He has suffered a number of injuries, which has inflicted some lacking to his performance.
And considering how much TB paid to NYR for McDonagh, they'd never trade him away just for Methot, who hasn't had that great of a season too.
But I like those VAN and ARI trades.

I'd go for buyout than trade with retaining. The cost is only half a million more, and we get to keep our 2nd round pick.

I'm quite sure Janmark, Johns and Tavares will all make a million more than that. Otherwise, this seems decent. Tavares is good signing for us.
