Buddy of course Nazar hasn't proven anything he has was out for an entire year and is 19 lmao. Also when did anyone mention Nazar?

As a Hawks fan, trust me when I say Dach can't play center. He could never win a faceoff even if his life depended on it.

:laugh On the Connor Heelebuyck trade and extension. He's not signing long term with that dump and the offer is a joke.
FYI Seth Jones doesn't waive for Canada.
Ryan McDonagh doesn't waive for that dump either.
Tarasenko, O'Reilly and Schenn don't sign with that dump. Signing and trades are delusional. And would never happen in a million years.</div></div>

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Ennis</b></div><div>Nobody is saying he doesn't have a high ceiling, or that we don't believe he'll hit it, we're simply saying the expectations that he's going to come out of the gate scoring 40 are WAY too high.
He has a good amount of knocks holding him back that he needs to develop. His skating needs to adjust to the NHL level. He's not going to be able to fly by defenders like he was doing in the CHL. He's also small. 5'10 185. He needs to bulk up a bit.
On your point that Chicago got better forwards.. they did.. but who's going to help him achieve 40? Taylor Hall? I think he's good for closer to 20 this season, then he'll explode once he's adapted.</div></div>
Bedard is almost 190 pounds at 5’10…. He’s basically a tank. The same thing is always said about these kids coming into the league about them being too small or too light (sometimes true) but not for bedard. He’s massive.

Davidson isn't like Bowman. He doesn't take on project players that can take valuable ice time away from other guys next to Bedard.
Also too many forwards. It just isn't a fit

Not the kind of player we should be signing. The forward core is pretty crowded and I’d focus on a 3rd pairing d man. Cal Foote seems like a good fit

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Ritzy</b></div><div>Can someone from Chicago explain the reasoning to paying TB a 7th to negotiate a 4M deal with a 38 year old?
Like I get needing to get to the cap floor, but couldn't Perry be had at like half that? Take on some contracts with picks (Bailey for example). Even if you retain half on Perry at the deadline, is someone going to take him at 2M when they were expecting to maybe get him at league min during the offseason?</div></div>
Bailey doesn't provide the same presence as Perry. Bailey is a leader but he doesn't have the same on ice presence as Perry. Perry is also a winner in the league. He has a hart trophy and stanley cup.

They weren't last place. They got out tanked and just got lucky that the lottery went their way</div></div>
Kyle put them in the position to get Bedard. Call tanking whatever you want and flame him for it but he was able to sell players for our future while getting bedard.

Is Kyle Davidson The Best GM DISCUSSION
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Not_Isles5513</b></div><div>The Hagel trade has worked out well for both teams tbh, and Raddysh is nowhere near as good as Hagel. Also, the DeBrincat trade return didn’t look fantastic at the time and it still doesn’t. Only great trade he made was dealing Dach to Montreal for 13th overall.
Then let’s talk about his cap management and free agency decisions. This dude decided not to extend a qualifying offer to Dylan Strome, Dominik Kubalik, and Caleb Jones. He’s given out incredibly bloated contracts to Athanasiou and Foligno which makes no sense considering he could have just taken on more cap dumps like Josh Bailey. And even tho I understand why he would want Taylor Hall to mentor Connor Bedard, he shouldn’t have helped Boston out with their cap issues for free. Dude isn’t a great GM just cause his team won the lottery.</div></div>
Strome walking for free is the one mistake he made. Other than that he and kubalik would have scored to much and missed on bedard. Kubalik is inconsistent, Caleb jones shouldn’t be in the league, hagel has inflated stats from kucherov, not enough roster spots for Bailey. Foligno is a great leader and get to the cap floor. And also the cat trade was great and looks better as the days go by. Sens can’t even resign him and they’re gonna get pennys for him.

That's because Perry is a veteran and winner at the NHL level. He's a role model compared to Ruhwedel who most people haven't prob heard of until this armchair gm.
