Exactly, so he can tell VAN to pound sand and they'll go elsewhere, there are plenty of teams wanting Jake.

A Guentzel trade that probably neither team accepts
VAN will chip something in for Mikheyev, or they will retain on him through a 3rd party. No way PIT takes on 4.75 on a 3rd liner. Dubas has not thrown in the towel yet, they are not rebuilding.

From what I’ve seen recently, no. Essentially they can’t get him at all with retention.

If petterson is an overpaid bottom pair defenseman then Lindholm is an overpaid third line center . Y’all are too damn funny

Take what you can get. The guy already said he wants out. Then again, so has most of the team. We'd be happy to keep everything and just sign him next summer

I wouldn’t be against giving him a fresh start, but I’d want salary retained and I have no interest in giving up any high end pieces for him. He’s 34 and having a bad year and every smug Montreal fan on this site thinks he’s worth Bourque and a first

4 guys a over a PPG two guys on 40 goal paces. A defense man who is 1 point shy from being a ppg player.
But ERod is the number 1 ranked guy.
I can't even with this nonsense.

If I'm Pittsburgh, I take that and run with it.
Larsson as a one-year rental fixes their bottom pairing and his cap hit can go to Marino the next year when that deal expires. A first round pick and a player for Murray would be great.

Pitt fans I need input
Hornqvist- please take him off the team, he's not bad, just not good enough to be getting the minutes (and PP1 time) Sully gives him, i just don't want Sully to have the ability to play him over Rust or Zucker like he did vs MTL
McCann- completely agree with mhockey, I still think he can be a decent top 6 winger, Sully just insists on playing him at 3C or nowhere else
Rust-I can't see him getting moved, debatably the best contract on the team other than Crosby (him or Guentzel) and we need all the cap space we can get, it'd be like the leafs moving Hyman
Simon- I still belive he can be a decent mid 6 F, he just has a terrible shot and it seems like the team wanted him to be a sniper on sid's line, but I would be willing to package him to get a legit top 6 winger

attempting to keep the core together with some luck
I consider Andersen part of the core. I very much disagree with blaming him when you look at how the team in front of him is playing defense as well as when your 34m forward line does very little.
I still think Marner is the guy who should be traded
Also, I don't think this package will get you MM

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Nights_King93</b></div><div>He said more than that... Haha.
I think it is safe to assume that 1 big shake up will occur outside of goalie. Murray or Jarry will go.
I think Malkin or Letang are also on the way out, hopefully with Johnson tied to them, at least most of his salary going with him.
Wouldn't be surprised if they let Sheary, McCann, Bjugstad, and hopefully, Simon go in one form or another as well.
Zucker looked like the hungriest guy on the ice most of the series. Certainty is very limited now. These are the locks you'd expect for next year.
Guentzel-Crosby-?
Zucker-? - Rust
? -? - Horn
Tanev-Blueger/ZAR
Dumo-Marino
Petersson-?
? -?
They won't trade all of those guys and I really think it will be tough to sell a Malkin trade to Sid, but we are about to see a different core imo. I think the trio gets broken up this year.</div></div>
Did you even read what he said? "I'm trying to build around this core" But you go off and say Malkin and Letang are gone??? They are this core. They'll retire Penguins. Malkin 100% will at least.

Radcliffe from Philly and FU to Sharks
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Billy739</b></div><div>what the heck is this ?
Smith by himself is worth Radcliffe and a couple PHI picks
Miller has less value but could still land a 1st from TML most deffinately along with a prospect like Gauthier
Reaves has an established price of a 1st rounder for the leagues top Fighter.
there is no way VGK moves him for less then a high to mid 2nd rounder
they may have cap questions to be answered but Eakin ,Haula and Bellmare can all be replaced for less .
trade them for picks and cheap but effective players like MTL's Charles Hudon who will make the league minimum but played 4th line with 125+ hits and 30 pts his rookie year to crack the line up .
the league's full of Charles Hudon Type's to sign Cheap .
ANA's Kalle Kossila is someone who could thrive in VGK
the list goes on</div></div>
Lmao
