<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>MaxBorjshlapsky</b></div><div>Yeah I was too lazy to look just went off memory and that's why I said it might be silly looking to see if someone could respond with information whether it's sensible which you didn't do.

So after looking closer 2 of their current 3 LD are just getting cleared to play after rough injuries werenski and bean, they have 5 rhd that can be regulars, provorov is their only sure thing LHD so Brodie is definitely valuable to them and they have money for him I am guessing it's just whether Brodie is interested if they can stay healthy with everyone they added in the backend and decent forwards they actually could flip the ship around this season...moving boqvist or peeke to add a lhd even though Brodie is expensive the argument that they could afford it might work.</div></div>

Yeah, I get Werenski basically missed the entire season, but come on. Saying Provorov is the only sure thing at LD is a massive stretch. Werenski could've been ready to go at the end of last season, but the team was cooked so there was no reason to push it. We're 6 months later now, it's not like Werenski is just coming up on his expected timetable to be able to play or something.

We'll have to see what happens with Bean, but either he or Blankenburg are serviceable at 3LD, even if not <em>ideal</em>. And it's also totally possible that Svozil just takes the remaining LD spot in the lineup regardless.

Brodie really just flat out doesn't fit the team as it is currently.
