Thats my thought. And the sid/marchy nova scotia connection. if thats where march wants to go im sure both sides could make something work and we take on a pens contract.

I agree he does have more value, thats why you're getting a higher price than the Wild got. Would you rather have 2 futures which you dont know how they'll pan out (mid round 1st and Faber) or and established goal scorer in the NHL in DeBrusk who as I mentioned you have full control over.
Miller doesnt want to sign in VAN and hes considered a rental now. Canucks lost a lot of the leverage they once had.

Is he? Similar production over the last 2 seasons. Fiala has more goals. I do agree I'd rather have Miller but its much closer than you think

LOL look what the Wild just got for Fiala. Miller is on an expiring deal, his value was much higher a year ago. Here they're getting a young established goal scorer who they have full control over (2 more years then RFA) , and RD prospect which they don't have a lot of in their system, and a middle tier draft pick. The time to trade JT Miller was last year and the canucks missed the boat, price changes accordingly

Boston Bruins 2018-19 Starting Lineup
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Bcarlo25</b></div><div>ya, i mean that's a good D corps top to bottom. Very good. The bottom six is pretty weak, it would be great if they could find a way to get another center in the mix so donato can play a year on the wing. Could a Krug for Brodin straight up swap make sense?
My idea was to trade Krug for Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, and take a serious run at Carlson.</div></div>
Krug for Brodin straight up i don't think would work. Get the sense they'd want to add a forward as they are fairly set on d with Suter, Spurgeon, Dumba. But who knows, there will be a new GM there so no idea what their plan is.
Also, As much as I'd like Carlson, B's are pretty set long term on the right side D with Mcavoy and Carlo. Furthermore, if the caps do go on to win the cup this year it's hard to see him leaving

Boston Bruins 2018-19 Starting Lineup
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Bcarlo25</b></div><div>Pretty good. Certainly better than the fantasy crap we normally see on here. I think Brodin is more of a second pairing guy, but he's certainly top four, so that's an upgrade. A couple swaps I would make. I don't think Donato is ready to play center in the NHL. He played a couple games there this season and looked really, really, really bad. I also don't think Backes is capable of top 9 minutes anymore. I would have Kuraly centering the third line if Donato can't handle it,
I would DEFINITELY swap Carlo and Miller. Carlo is lightyears ahead of miller.</div></div>
Lol yes, error on my part with Miller and Carlo. Should be:
Brodin-Mcavoy
Chara-Carlo
Krug-Miller
McQuiad

The plan IMO is to have Ryan Donato take over 3rd line center next year. JFK still needs at least another year in the minors

More Realistic Outcome for 2019
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>DAb4</b></div><div>I think the bruins would benefit from a dman who is stronger on the puck ad is arguably bigger and much better for a Bruce Cassidy type system than Torey Krug who arguably has had the best season he will ever have. As for JT Brown I agree I was just tinkering with **** lol</div></div>
Still don't see Leddy as an upgrade just because he's bigger. I know +/- isn't the best stat to look at when valuing players, but FWIW, Nick leddy was a league-worst -42 this year. If you're on the ice for that many even strength goals against, i can pretty much guarantee you aren't great in your own end

Don't understand the Jt Brown signing, at all. How does he get that term and that money?! Also Leddy is not an upgrade from Torey, they are the same type of player. If anything it's a downgrade as Torey is more dynamic offensively

What do you think Landeskogs value is? only 13 points this year and a history of injuries.
Avs are crazy if they think they are getting a top-flite defenceman and a 1st rounder, which is the reported asking price

To give them a first line centre who has proved to have chemistry with newly appointed captain Blake Wheeler. Shift Little to the wing, and you have two elite centres in Krejci and Scheifele

No, but only because Hall is one of the best young forwards in the game. That doesn't mean Larsson is a bad defenceman, and he definitely as more value than tanev. Tanev's a 27 year old undrafted dman who's career high is 20 points. Sorry, we already have a similar player to that, who is already a big enough problem, and we just signed him to a 4 year deal
