Next Year Pipe Dream
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>bolts03</b></div><div>I would say you are right but just curious what you would value him at?</div></div>
I would need something like the Mitts-Byram swap to consider moving him. Maccelli’s passing is just absurd and his defense is underrated. I like Cernak, but he’s a defensive D and we don’t have an offensive or two way guy on the left that would make him viable to use on the top pair. He’d likely land on the 2nd pair behind Durzi, and there’s not enough value in that for me to move Maccelli

You are aware keller has given a million interviews on wanting to stay in Arizona right? And he’s not going to Montreal which isn’t even a better on ice situation.

Getting better
Why would they go full rebuild? Over the last 3 drafts they’ve drafted at 3, 6, 9, 11, 12, and 29. The plan is for those guys to come help Keller, like Cooley and Guenther already have, it’s pretty straight forward.

What is the Price
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Jonas_Seagull</b></div><div>Last year Bjugstad was moved for a 3rd & Kesselring, now they’re worth a ton more, I doubt it but if that’s your opinion sure, GMs have been underpaying for stuff all week
I was thinking a 1st & a prospect for Bjugstad, Kesselring & the Panthers 2nd (which is essentially a 3rd)
I think that is more then fair</div></div>
People wildly undervalue Kesselring. He wasn’t some throwaway in the deal, he was the main piece, the 3rd was extra. Arizona correctly identified talent, that’s why you want Kesselring in this deal.
GMs can underpay for anything. Arizona isn’t selling, so not really sure what you’re getting at? If you want a player who isn’t UFA and another team likes, it costs you.
I wouldn’t take that deal. It’s cycling young players into prospects too much.

What is the Price
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Jonas_Seagull</b></div><div>In what way? A 3C & a 5-6 D with scoring upside?</div></div>
Bjugy is outproducing Wennberg who plays the same role, and has cost control for another year. AW brought back a 2nd and 4th, Arizona is going to want more than that. Kesselring looks like a potential 2nd pair D, at worst 3rd, he’s under contract and then an RFA, why would Arizona have interest in moving that?

Idk how many times it needs to be said, but crouse isn’t available. Trying to buy a 20 goal all situations power forward with undersized forwards and mid round picks is never going to happen

Crouse to DET
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>ncwingz</b></div><div>I agree. Crouse would be a great fit on the wings, but would need to have some different pieces to entice a trade. I don’t know the coyote’s organization well, but have read that they need some D signed beyond this year and some possible d prospects too. Would love to hear from Coyotes ACGMs.</div></div>
The value would have to be so laughably in Arizona’s favor to move Crouse, he likes being here and management loves him. Even if you replaced Berggren with a guy like Wallinder it’s not getting done despite that being a great offer

Durzi
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Cub19</b></div><div>Arizona should run with this trade.</div></div>
Why? A late first and an offensive LD doesn’t do anything to replace the massive hole this creates at RD. Too many people haven’t watched Durzi this year, his two way game has been excellent.

So basically Veleno and a mid 1st for Schmaltz after eating the Holl cap dump. That’s a no from Arizona, he’s a RW anyways.

covering all open positions to try again
Both Arizona trades would be a no. RyJo is costing a 2nd to dump, let alone paying for Bjugstad. If you wanted Schmaltz then they’d be asking for Byram and the pieces could be played with further. Girard isn’t the type of defenseman Arizona goes for, Armstrong prefers size. These teams aren’t good trading partners, what they need/ want and what they’d give up are very different

They won’t move crouse now that they extended him. 20 goal power forward and huge locker room presence, management loves him. I assume they’re trying to pry someone free from the Grif’f’s with Dumba.

avs looking to reacquire kerfoot per dater
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Anus_McLeod</b></div><div>That's why ì would only pay what I would pay. He's not a 2C, and the Avs have a lot of bottom six players. He also doesn't really fit with what the current bottom six is structured to do.
The only way it makes sense is if they're thinking he might be able to carry the load between two strong wingers. He might, but that's a big gamble if giving up significant assets.</div></div>
If they were going the “throw two strong wingers with him and pray” route I would think Bjugstad is the better fit honestly. Either way, not much of a fit, I’m very surprised you guys didn’t get Monahan

avs looking to reacquire kerfoot per dater
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Anus_McLeod</b></div><div>Kerfoot hasn't been consistent enough in his career to justify much more. He's a good player, but he's not quite top six on a Cup team, and he's not really in the mould of a bottom six player either. That hurts his value a good amount in my eyes.</div></div>
I think everyone knows what he is now, a bottom 6 Swiss Army knife, it’s even how we’re using him. I think there’s good value in that, I don’t think there’s value in that for Colorado who would need him to be the 2C he’s not, which is why I’m confused by the rumored interest.
