Norris is immovable now. This is his what 4th major injury on the same shoulder? He’ll be lucky to play again, and if he does he’s certainly no where near an $8m player

avs looking to reacquire kerfoot per dater
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Anus_McLeod</b></div><div>I could see a Kerfoot trade happening, but it certainly won't be anything close to the one you have here. Wood just signed, and Kovalenko hasn't even played a game for the organization yet. Neither will be going anywhere. I think something more like Behrens and a 2nd with the Yotes also taking RyJo is more reasonable.</div></div>
I doubt anyone is taking RyJo without a 2nd coming with him, and that would be with future considerations as the return. Kerfoot has 35 points in 60 games, he’s good value, this would basically be Kerfoot for Behrens straight up and there’s no way Arizona does that

What we thinking
Arizona is extremely high on Geekie, don’t see him being moved. I like Mitts a lot, just don’t think Buffalo and Arizona would find common ground to get the deal done.

Nope. Already have Cooley, Keller, and Maccelli in the top 6, benson doesn’t fit size wise or positionally. But brings size along with an all around game, perfect compliment to Cooley.

It just leads us to trying to turn those late round picks back into good players, like Schmaltz. I’d rather be putting together packages for guys like Byram or Mercer than more picks, no matter how good this scouting staff has looked

We’ve got a billion 2nds as it is, late 1sts aren’t particularly different. They can sell Schmaltz, that’s fine, but bring back something of quality, not dart throws of which we already have many

2 late 1sts and a cap dump aren’t getting Schmaltz. If Arizona wanted to move him there would be far better options.

Coyotes lost because what they got for Chychrun has amounted to nothing
Senators lost because Chychrun hasn’t really elevate them to the next level like they were hoping</div></div>
But just scored 21 points in 55 games for one of the top teams in the KHL averaging 9 minutes a night, in what universe is that nothing? That’s an insanely exciting prospect.

It’s a nice offer, but leaves us without a power forward, so can’t see Arizona going for it. Crouse is largely untouchable just due to the play style he has and what he brings to the room.

Kesselring is a good player. If it’s minimal impact, then keep your 4th and 6th, Arizona doesn’t need or want it anyways

Yeah but I don’t think you’re really extracting 2 runs worth of value from Tampa or Vegas, you can likely do better on the 1st rounder at the draft.
As far as his talent goes, he’s kinda always blown as an actual defender, but Tocchet let him run wild and abandon all defensive responsibilities. Worked to build up his rep around the league, 41 pts in 56 games will do that, but it was always an inflated version of his talents the yotes were spinning. Dorion just hosed you guys for no real discernible reason, LD wasn’t even close to a need.

TRADE CHYCHRUN NOW
Just sell at the draft, the market isn’t really full of buyers under too much pressure from ownership to make a big move, like Minnesota, Detroit, or Washington. You’re probably underselling to Tampa and Vegas, if that’s all Ottawa wants then just try for a pick in the 15-19 range at the draft along with a 2nd or prospect. The Yotes had him on the block for 2 years, find your own Dorion out there, there’s always someone who gets desperate in the offseason

McBain and Borgen
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>jamathon</b></div><div>Great point but you guys are still in last place. You guys already have crouse, Bjugstad and o Brian. All physical guys but can’t shoot. You guys have a lot of young players who still need time to develop. Maple leafs don’t need a 3rd center we’re just gonna use him as a winger if anything. Robertson can still be better than Maccelli. I think it’s still too soon to shut the door on Robertson as he’s shown a lot of progress this year. He could play a lot better for you guys as there is less pressure.</div></div>
Crouse currently has 20 goals, Bjugy is there for his two way play and mentorship of McBain so he turns into a better version of him, and O’Brien just sucks, he won’t be back. I like Robertson the player, I just don’t think there’s a fit or need at all. Could he be better than Maccelli? I mean anything’s possible, but celli looks like he could be one of the top passers in the league on a lot of nights, no sense stunting that development for a different project. Chicago seems a more natural fit for Nick, they’ll give him top 6 minutes, have 2nds to burn, and you can flip that for a different forward or tanev.

McBain and Borgen
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>jamathon</b></div><div>You just said a lot of nothing lmao. Robertson is a lot better than McBain if you would just watch both of the players it's obvious that Robertson is more skilled and has more points. McBain will never be a center on the third line as he has a 43% faceoff win percentage. Yes, McBain can still get a few points but was never a scorer. Robertson is already playing on the 3rd line and is scoring more points in fewer games than McBain and with more takeaways in fewer minutes. His potential is far better than McBain but yet again you're telling me he's not lmao. Robertson is already better and he played 50 games less than McBain in his entire NHL career.</div></div>
The entire point is we don’t need an undersized skilled 3LW, he’ll never progress and pass Keller, Maccelli, or Crouse. We also have plenty like him in the pipeline already. What we don’t have is a physical bottom 6 C who can produce and hit, which is exactly why you’re trying to make this trade in the first place, you don’t have it either and you do have other skilled undersized wings.
