<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>dannibalcorpse</b></div><div>Why would Philly trade the guy they seemingly believe in for: a 7th D, a bad goalie that is more or less a buyout at this point; an okay prospect who can't stay healthy, and a 3rd rounder?</div></div>
Holl was kept in the expansion draft and has value as a 2/3 pairing RHD. Philly has the worst D in the league and needs to add something.
Robertson is 20 and a PPG in the AHL. Immediately becomes the Flyer's best prospect until they pick 5th overall. He can jump into the line-up next year and would be a top 6 forward with the flyer's current depth.

Oof I should have seen the title.

Sandin gone for OS
I feel like Sandin is worth more than a second-round pick. He's a 22yo former first-round pick who has only been getting better. His points total doesn't reflect his impact on the game. Next year he'll probably QB the leaf's PP over Rielly.
The trade doesn't really make sense for the leafs though. This cost-controlled asset is going to get you a second-round pick <strong>next year</strong>? Would rather try to Muzzin and redistribute some of his cap hit.

Leafs - Hall 2019
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>SammyT_51</b></div><div>Is severson even upgrade on Ceci defensively? Offensively he has more to give than Barrie for team like Toronto tho..</div></div>
Ceci is not good. Barrie is offensively better than Severson (at least since Keefe), but is not strong defensively.

Leafs - Hall 2019
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Bcarlo25</b></div><div>I think Severson is worth a ton in trade here. Good contract, plenty of term. Take out Barrie. They don’t want a rental. Move him in a separate deal. Instead of Barrie I’d say add Sandin and upgrade the 2nd to a 1st and that’s a really interesting package.</div></div>
In the description I mentioned it only goes forward if Barrie resigns with NJD upon trading. Sandin carries a lot more value and would be surprised if the Leafs move him - as his ELC will be extremely important for this cash-strapped team. Leafs also don't have a first so they would have to acquire one.

Big time changes
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>MichaelFu</b></div><div>Honestly I’m not sure how much better Ceci is compared to Zaitsev. Keep in mind, Zaitsev played a very solid shutdown role against the Bruins during the first round, him and Muzzin had the Bergeron line very limited especially through the first few games.</div></div>
Yeah tbh I changed it. Took a look at Ceci's underlying numbers and they're pretty bad.
Added Larsson for a "change of scenery move" where Edmonton gets ex-McDavid linemate Brown and Zaitsev plus a pick to sweeten. Might be a little soft of a trade but I'm open to feedback

Nylander VGK
So keep in mind Marleau has a NMC on July 1st and signed a deal to move his entire family to Toronto. His contract is awful but I just can’t see the organization moving him

Is this reasonable
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Kongol</b></div><div>For who?</div></div>
Leafs.
Don't think they give up on Nylander after he had the odds against him all season. Give him until the trade deadline to produce, if he doesn't don't wait longer than that. Andersson projects to a top 4 D, but it's not worth sacrficing Nylander to get an old Neal on a brutal contract, and losing a pick and Rosen (who should crack Top 6 next year).
Jenner is alright, but people forget what Kadri brings to the team, especially after he was a bozo in the playoffs. Kadri and Jenner are actually pretty similar IMO. Kadri produces more consistently but doesn't have the same magnitude of physical play that Jenner brings. The difference between Kadri and Jenner isn't a 3rd, 4th, and Sparks though...
