Ohgren -Östlund-Lekkerimakki should remain a line. They were absolutely insane in the 2022 u18

The 2023 WJC-20 tournament are players born in 2003 and later. Mazur is a 2002 kid so ineligible.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>bunzy1034</b></div><div>You think so? I was having a hard time deciding if he makes it or not this year.</div></div>
He has nothing left to prove in the W and another year there would be a waste of time for him, and he can't play in the AHL, so yeah, I think he makes the team. They'd have in no specific order Wennberg, McCann, him, and Beniers as their centers, I'd think.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>KooKoo4Kaapo</b></div><div>Girard is better than every defensemen on the Jets, except maybe Morrisey. So what do you mean??</div></div>
Like mentioned before, it’s always negative. I’m genuinely confused as to what else winnipeg would want in a Dubois deal. They get a young C prospect with plenty of potential and a top 4 dman. Again they don’t necessarily need girard, but he’s like you said better than every dman the jets have besides Morrissey lol.

Reasonable Dubois Offer
Zero chance Chevy accepts 25% of what Dubois gets at the TDL in two years, including a cap dump that they haven't been compensated for.

Reasonable Dubois Offer
How on earth is a cap dump a third line center and a late 1st a reasonable offer for a 1st line center just entering his prime lmao.
Habs fans are absolutely delusional.
Would you accept this offer for Suzuki???

Exactly. Plus would anyone want to be known as the GM that turned Patrik Laine into Drouin and a couple seconds or Anderson and Dvorak. That's very close to Chiarelli territory.

What I would do
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Windjammer</b></div><div>Yeah, but the Jets aren't rebuilding. The firsts are nice, but selling good players at a huge discount and taking back piles of crud to get those picks isn't smart asset management or a good team building strategy.
This is the kind of stuff Arizona does, not teams that are trying to win.</div></div>
Hence the title of my AGM is "What I would Do" - Which I would sell based on the roster and their current situation.
At least go for a retool.

that wouldn’t be very loyal of them would it!!! who cares about winning? at least our players and coaches and management know they’re job is secure no matter how ****ty they are at it!

My top prospects after the 2022 NHL Draft
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>MisstheWhalers</b></div><div>The future could be bright if they give all these guys a legit chance to make the team.
Think I'd have Gawanke and Torgersson somewhere in my top 10 list, wasn't too high on the Torgersson pick but he looked good with the Moose, he has a nose for the net and good size which are both things the Jets could use.
Gawanke is really good, he and Chisholm are a pretty dynamic D pair, he'll probably be an AHL lifer unfortunately cause that's just what this stupid organization does with most of their secondary prospects but he's really impressive at the AHL level, honestly I find both Gawanke and Chisholm a lot more noticeable than Heinola is in the Moose games I've watched.</div></div>
Exact statement why they need some front office changes or some philosophical changes, jets need development along with great drafting, got to quit putting veteran minimums ahead of kids. Time to gamble and let some of these kids sink or swim. Kids growing stale on the farm is a awful approach, a family friend is a undrafted rookie out of whl and a a pile of teams kicking the tires on him. Sj, van, ari, dal, mtl, min I believe. I told him Arizona and completely on opportunity over anything else. They can’t afford to not develop you and probably won’t stick veterans ahead of you. Lhd dman so hopefully finds opportunity

I wasn’t a huge fan of the mcgroarty pick either but I have faith in the scouting staff. Getting lambert at 30 made me forget all about that first pick lol. I was shocked. Really hope lambert plays for seattle next year.

Lambert could very possibly end up being the best offensive player from this draft. He reminds me so much of Scheifele, it was very ironic to me that Winnipeg ended up drafting him

Another case of a player that should have been sent back to junior, going to be an effective player, not sure of the skating ability to make a future 1c/2c prediction. Personally I would move him to the wing and try to create a ovechkin/stamkos spot scorer on pp. but I’m a trucker not a hockey exec lol
