Come back stronger

He is probably signing for $3.5M AAV for 2 years honestly. They’ll work it out cause he loves STL. Just give him a big signing bonus if the money works

Game 6 Lines
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>mokumboi</b></div><div>I think they need to put Leddy back on PP1, because those guys are used to playng with a lefty shot back there. Keep Faulk with PP2, that works.</div></div>
I was thinking that too. Leddy played really well last game. So if they wanna keep Mikkola in for a more defensive approach, then Leddy would be fine in that spot too

Have you seen a faster team
From and Avs fan: I have no doubt the Blues will make adjustments and be better next game. Avs made some sloppy plays and the Blues capitalized. The Avs also flubbed some very good scoring chances. So, while I don't think what we saw from the Blues will continue, I also don't think the Avs finishing will be as shoddy. Avs also looked pretty ragged on the PP. So, things to clean up for both teams.

Game 1 vs Avs Do we have a chance
They have a chance as long as ROR doesn't make any stupid comments like he did last year and gives the Avs fuel.

Blues lines Game 3 adding more grit
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>cschmid_194</b></div><div>The added physical value of Joshua over Walker is not the difference between us winning the cup and losing 6-2. Would I like to crack a couple more heads out there, sure, but not at the cost of being out of position. It has been a weird series so far, tbh i thought minny played significantly better than us 5v5 game 1 and lost because we just had great special teams play and timely saves. Game 2 we dominated 5v5 play but lost because of a couple early special teams goal and Flower made some big saves. These teams are so close, a post here, a broken stick there or a missed call can change the game. I don't think we are that far off from our 2019 team physically speaking, we just have more offensive firepower so we might as well play to that strength. All that being said, the goalie that make the timelier saves will win the series imo. Tonight should be a fun one, I will be the lunatic in 108 screaming obscenities at every Wild player.</div></div>
Is it the thing that will put us over the top? No, will it help us against Minny, it sure will. Blues have zero intimidating presence. At least Maroon provided some sort of intimidating presence.

Yall are way way too pessimistic
I mean, yeah we’re still good. People are totally overreacting to a special teams slump. Obviously have some very real and exploitable flaws, but this is not the team that got swept last year… not even close.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>bnormie46</b></div><div>Still a deep team, I can see this them in the WCF</div></div>
I can't. Minnesota and Colorado notably improved. If anything Blues downgraded.

Do not go gentle into that good night
For all the buzz about a possible Chychrun trade I don't think the Coyotes end up moving him. He's a good young player at a cost-controlled contract for the next 3 years after this one.
Seems to me the exact player that the Coyotes should be building around, not trading away. But that's me.
I don't think he gets dealt unless the Coyotes get pretty darn close to exactly what they're looking for in order to move him, which I think will be too much, and out of the Blues' ability to put a package together that another team wouldn't be able to match/so prohibitively costly that it's not worth it.

LDs on my wishlist
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>mokumboi</b></div><div>Really? I kinda have the idea he's pretty much untouchable. I'd absolutely do a 1st, a 2nd (one of them '22, one of them '23) and Ellis right now. And I'd add another B-ish prospect if they also took Scandella back.</div></div>
no i totally disagree that he's "untouchable" and here is why.
CBJ has a hard time retaining free agents. They had a chance to lock him in, they took short term and low money. They are a rebuilding team, lots of young players. While he probably would make life easier for them, fact is, I'm not sure he fits their window at this point. I think he knows that and they do to. So I'm not sure he'd stick around after next season. So if I got a solid offer, I'd take it. I'm sure they would to.

Only deal I would be interested in
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Shylo_Moxii</b></div><div>wrong. You understand his specific year to year deals are inconsistent not to mention certain players elevated Chychrun not the other way around. If we give up those assets for a guy who has to have someone elevating him to be good. Then we just gave up a Top 4 Pairing defenseman that's going to last longer than 3 years in St.Louis, and giving up a Forward who basically has Top 6 potential which we already gave that up in Bokk. So prospect pool is already depleted. You want to give up another first round pick which brings us in a defenseman who's been horrible this year average at best last year and elevated by other players the year before that.... Yeah sorry I'm good on that one chief.</div></div>
he's 23, placed in 10th in Norris voting last year. Bokk is not a future top 6 forward. Only 10 points in the AHL this year. He might be a third liner in the future but that's about it. I am glad you are not a GM because your talent evaluations are terrible. I would easily give a 1st, Bolduc, and Perunovich for Chychrun. It is time to go try for another cup, not build up futures
