Seems pretty fair value wise.
Way too much $ for AB though, especially for that term.

Again, watch the games. That conference is on ESPN so you can watch BC, BU, Northeastern, etc. games if you have ESPN+.
You'll see that Leonard is a far better player than Perrault even if the point totals don't say so

Still think he is, but the calculus of sending him down vs Okhotiuk, Emberson is correct as his cap hit higher and another year. Probably as much about who wouldn’t get claimed via waivers

Personally I don’t think they need Sturm. 1st, goodrow, another pick for Duclair?

Few issues with this deal.
1, while yes the sharks are rebuilding and young guys with upside are needed, these 3 players would take spots from our current young players (Thrun Embersom and Bordeleau) and I don’t think any of these 3 are better than the player they replace.
2, sharks are almost maxed out on contracts and would have to waive or terminate 2 deals in order for this to happen.
3, that 2nd has a condition that it becomes a 1st if NJD make the ECF and that is a real possibility. That’s way too much to give up for this trio, and even if you then switch it to the sharks 2nd that’s likely 33-38 range I still feel that’s too much to give up.
I think sharks pass.

Pinto
Bordeleau on top of what is already there? Seems like a lot. I would say Bordeleau alone maybe.
Pinto = Bordeleau + 2nd
Joseph + 2nd = 0
Thus,
Pinto + Joseph + 2nd = Bordeleau + 2nd
Or,
Pinto + Joseph = Bordeleau

Amazing how people look at 6 piece trade, and judge on the worst piece, when they first 3-4 would be sufficient.

Zetterlund belongs nowhere near the top 6 and I think that’s a rich contract for him too. He’s done absolutely nothing with the sharks

At a 4.8 mil cap hit you'd be crazy not to. He may be slightly overpayed in that last year or two but his two-way game is good enough to have him even if he regresses like crazy production wise. Factor in the cap going up and the fact he has a fairly buyout-friendly contract, and it's very low risk.

Fantilli Dreamin
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>markmws</b></div><div>I am not a Sharks fan per say, but I think that when it's all said and done, Fantilli will have had a better career than Bedard (with all respects to Bedard). To me, he's the best in the class. Love his 6'2 size (he'll probably be at least 200 by the time his rookie season starts) and he's already playing against stiff competition. They will both be generational talents, but if it were my team, I'd want Fantilli.
On a side note: that Leo Carlsson looks OUTSTANDING! He'd be my number 3.
Of course, these are just my opinions (please no hate!) :)</div></div>
Cant hate a person for giving their opinion. People on here comparing Bedard to Mcdavid and Fantilli to Eichle are not paying attention to the facts.
both those guys were within 1" and 10 pounds of each-other and so you could base your preference purely on skill.
Bedard is great but 5'9" and 155 pounds while Fantili is almost as good offensively and almost as fast but is 6'3" 195 pounds. and in a sport as physical and violent as hockey 6" and 40 pounds is HUGE. Bedard will be a very good hockey player (I see him being a slightly better version of Gaudreau) but Fantilli will be a powerful physical force while also being very good offensively (like a better bigger Pastrnak) and if a team like the sharks had the option to draft either one they would only have to look at their top 4 offensive prospects (Bordeleau 5'10" 165, Eklund 5'11" 178, Robins 5'8 160, Gushin 5'10" 178) and see a powerful larger C to offset their smaller prospects would be wise.

I can't keep track which day corresponds to Holl's value. Is today Holl being shipped off by TOR ACGMs for a bag of pucks or is he's suddenly a super valuable defenseman?
Probably corresponds to after games where he chips it over the glass or throws the puck baseball style down the ice for penalties at terrible moments

I'd guess Bonino and Nieto get a 4th/5th. Maybe even a 3rd for Bonino, especially if we retain.
Not too sure for Svechnikov, too early to tell. I've liked how he's looked so far but he was healthy scratched last night. From 1st line to scratched lol.
Reimer should get a 2nd, especially with how he's been playing so far. I feel a lot of playoff teams are struggling with goaltending. At least a 3rd.
Too early to say for Labanc as well. He's been on the 4th line and scratched, but when in the top 9 I think he's been decent. Probably not worth 4.725, but if he gets some more games on the top line/in the top 9 in general, we could see. Probably still negative value atm.

think your 100% spot on, Labanc and Simek look better but both wont be dealt till next year IMO, even then we may just have to ride those two deals out.
Bonino i think gts us a 4th with 50% retention
Nieto 5th or 6th
Reimer is a 2nd plus at this point
Svechnikov is an unkown and i would prefer to keep him as a solid bottom 6 depth guy.
Nutivaara sounds like he may not play this year so what a waste of cap there.
I would also expect Lindblom Kunin Barabanov and Meier to garner some interest from other teams, especially Barabanov who just seems to make players better around him with the work he puts in night after night and has a pretty affordable contract.
