Idk about the flames trade, but I think the Kings would be silly not to make that move if Boston offers.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>GeneralLandro</b></div><div>That Oilers trade is wild</div></div>
Value wise it could maybe happen, cap wise it could probably not! The B´s need to create cap space - unfortunately the Oilers are in a similar situation, thus a seemingly bad trading partner regarding Ullmark. DeBrusk to the Oilers is however a logical move - if Bergy retires it wouldn´t shock me if they went so far as to offer DeBrusk and Lysell for RNH.

Preds have enough middle 6 centers. We need legitimate top 6 centers.

You could just say you don't actually watch him play. The reality is he netted 20 last year for Boston. This year he played 61 games and still potted 16 goals while playing a 3rd line role and PP2 because of deep Boston was. He also plays a pretty solid 200ft game. He's no where close to a cap dump, but Chicago isn't the right team for him. They have a long rebuild in front of them and won't be competitive for another 3-5 years at best.

The bottom half of that D is going to be a problem.

Just FYI: The only thing Barbashev is having a down year at is shooting. In every other area, he's playing his best hockey.

Moving Freddy ain’t an option in my opinion, he’s finally starting to gain some confidence in his game and could be our long term 3C replacement when coyle needs to move up due to bergy and krech retiring. I like Barbashev but I’d much rather keep Freddy over acciari and add something else for Barbashev

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>OldNYIfan</b></div><div>Yeah, his trade request still stands. It rings in the ears of every NHL GM. And his contract expires just when we expect our window to be opening. No, thanks -- I think a contender or near-contender (like Nashville, especially of they lose Forsberg) would be more interested in him than us.</div></div>
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Gofnut999</b></div><div>Don’t be so sure. He’s biggest issue was Cassidy. He may not want out anymore.
Despite the constant backlash against him on here he averages 25g per 82. Is 11th in goals scored from his draft class. Has developed his 2 way game during the last year to the point of being somewhat respectable in his own end.
I don’t see any value for Boston settling for anything lower than a top 40 pick. The odds of replacing that kind of production beyond that gets pretty dicey quickly. The 10th pick is a ridiculous ask. The 22 far more realistic.
Hilarity would be Debrusk traded to Vegas.</div></div>
Confirmation: his trade request has been rescinded. Wants to stay with Cassidy gone.

Canucks would accept this offer imo. They are looking for a dman and the term thatCarlo has makes it more attractive. Sure he doesn't offer much production but he'll free up Hughes to do what he does best and Schenn can pair with OEL.

Canes pass, and it's not a decision that would take much thinking. Carolina don't want to move Necas and DeBrusk isn't opening that door. LeBrun reported it needing a young D++ to blow the Canes out of the water

The first two trades are more than possible, but the last two are Highly unlikely. I can't see Boston trading Haula and Ullmark only a year after their signature unless there is a new GM in town.

No calling him a bad player, I'm saying there will be a lot of teams in on Ekholm and I think Nashville would definitely prefer a good prospect over a 25 yo middle 6 player if they are rebuilding
