Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Hall can play with Bedard so maybe he would accept the trade to Chicago. Have to inject some Providence players in the mix as there isn't much choice due to cap restraints. Ullmark to LA makes a ton of sense. Grzelcyk to Pittsburgh also make sense for the Pens. Forbort to Anaheim also makes sense but maybe for a lesser draft pick.

Hawks aren't trading two 2nd's for Hall even if he did agree to waive.

Oops I think you meant Taylor Hall + some picks for "future considerations"

It's cute that you think the overpaid declining old guy is worth...anything, really. But he's a cap dump at this point, you'll figure that out sooner or later.

Yeah teams are desperate to be on the hook for 2 x $6m for an aging offense-only guy who struggles to sniff 20 goals on the best regular-season team in the league.

Swayman gets offer sheeted. No chance he takes that low of a contract.

You could just say you don't actually watch him play. The reality is he netted 20 last year for Boston. This year he played 61 games and still potted 16 goals while playing a 3rd line role and PP2 because of deep Boston was. He also plays a pretty solid 200ft game. He's no where close to a cap dump, but Chicago isn't the right team for him. They have a long rebuild in front of them and won't be competitive for another 3-5 years at best.
