Our lack of scoring wil really hurt us

RW, Scores goals, goes to the dirty areas, physical play. He's everything Boston loves.
But that is only if the penguins don't make the playoffs themselves.</div></div>
zI really dont think the bruins want 4 more years of Hornqvist. Even is they retain al little.

I don't want to. But seemed like a way to get rid of backes and get some cap space. Just fooling around on the interweb.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Gofnut999</b></div><div>Leafs did not take cap space back. Backes costs less to buyout then Marleau with less cap hit. You want to use Marleau as the guide then 1st and Backes for 7th. Otherwise the return goes down as cap space coming back goes up.
Honestly, neither team does this one.
Lot better shot at Backes 2nd mid level prospect for Nash.</div></div>
Totally right, Marleau isn't a comp if you are taking back cap and Backes is owed much less real money.
I've proposed that before and I think it could work out well.

Seems pretty fair when Toronto has to move a 1st for 1 year of Marleau at just over 6 mil.</div></div>
Next year the Bs don't need to do this at all, they will just buy out Backes.
Backes, Heinen and a first is way too much for Wennberg. Maybe Backes and Heinen for Wennberg, but I don't love that.

Agreed, lots of questions on Loui.
It't only a one year deal for Chuck so I figured he wouldn't get a ton. Who knows what happens at this point.

My point is they are not going to go into the season with $28,000 in cap space.

The cap was set a month ago at $81.5 M. You only have $128K left under the cap, and probably about $100K less because Gaunce won't be on the roster it will be Kampfer.

Bjork-Coyle-Ryan
Nord-Kuraly-Wag
Not sure Ryan can play with the 1st line at this point.

Maybe it could be al little more, but short answer, YES. I don't want picks, I want players. I would love a top 6 RW but that means you are not saving any cap $.

I feel like we really need to entice someone to take backs, which is why i took back Nash in the deal.
It doesn't really have to be WPG, anyone really. I just figured WPG needs D so i sipped him there.

The optics of trading John Moore are terrible, its not happening.
JFK is playing in Sweden next year, he won't be with Boston at all.
I think Carlo will be more expensive.
Jumbo Joe is going to go back to SJS.
I am not sure you can get that much for kevan Miller, maybe a 5th at the most.
Heinen will be under $3 mill.
