Early Questions for Bruins Fans- 14 games in Wanna hear your thoughts
Scratch Wagner. He isn't good. Kase is absolutely in. Bjork should stay in, he's placed well despite having to play on a different line literally every game and being benched for small mistakes. Frederic is doing fine; would like him to get on the scoreboard though. That being said, Bjork is the most likely to sit. That leads to question 2.
<strong>Trade deadline</strong> Top4 LD. Lauzon isn't a first pair D, he's played well but the Bruins need a real top4 D for the playoffs. One in Grzelcyk isn't enough. Still 9 weeks before TDL so things can change. Let's hope Zboril and Lauzon keep playing well. I think you can get a dman for 2nd round pick but Bjork+pick like the Donato trade 2 years ago could happen.
If Kuraly/4th line is still inconsistent, adding a bottom-6 player would be useful. The guy I would target: Adam Lowry (if WPG is selling). He is really good defensively and also reliable on the PK. In addition, he has that physicallity and grit element Bruins fans love. 3rd pick would be the return I guess although many teams could be after him. Similar to the Barclay Goodrow addition Tampa made last year.
<strong>Free agency</strong>
1/2) Still 5 months, not much to say but agreed with what you said on Krejci and the goalies.
3) As I said, yes, Bruins need a top4 LD.
4) Personally, I'm not a fan of Ritchie. He's playing well but still. Move him in a trade at the end of the year and get back what you lost when you acquired him.
<strong>Seattle</strong>: also early but it depends who's protected/who isn't. Bruins are more than likely to lose a good player. Unless 55/67 take big step, I'm confortable leaving them unprotected. (Assuming Bjork is gone at TDL).

John Moore has played one game, and it was simply just to get him in a game.
Replacing John Moore is replacing the bruins 8th d man. If that’s goligoski, sure. A 4th and Moore for “goose.”

Would make so much sense
Two things don Sweeney has made abundantly clear:
1. He doesn’t want to add to the left side.
2. He hates going two years in a row without a first rounder.
For those reasons, it doesn’t make sense. Maybe after the expansion draft if all the bruins young d have crapped themselves.

How I want to experiment this lineup with Pasta back
I think we'll see something like:
Marchand - Bergeron - Pastrnak
Rithcie - Krejci - DeBrusk
Frederic - Coyle - Smith
Bjork - Kurlay - Wagner
I think Bruce really wants to get a look at this Frederic-Coyle-Smith line. They absolutely abused PHI last game. When those 3 were on the ice at 5v5 together:
Outshot PHI: 7-0
Outscored PHI: 2-0
Out chanced PHI: 5-0
^That was going up mostly against the Hayes line at 5v5.

I actually like this idea. Studnicka seems to have clicked more with Krejci then Bergeron/Marchand (might just be that hes gotten more comfortable as games go on) Ritchie has earned every right to stay put on L2, Debrusk - Coyle - Smith would be a matchup nightmare.

Review of BOS vs PHI 12121
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>nalzugaray12</b></div><div>It's just looking more and more likely Boston will have to make a little deal with Seattle. But you're right, got plenty of time to worry about that</div></div>
Definitely. At some level though, if each of the exposed young guys plays well (Lauzon, Zboril, Frederic) they wont have to pay an arm and a leg to keep the two they want. Now getting them to take a John Moore is gonna take some value. But at the end of the year they say "We really like Lauzon and Frederic, so were willing to give you Zboril and a sweetner to not take one of the other two" then it wont sting as bad in my mind...obviously just an example. GMs are also way more wary now after Vegas robbed some teams.

After Studnicka's goal, you can tell he settled down with the puck a little bit. Hopefully he takes that in stride. Ritchie has definitely come along, i think he will fit back into that 3LW eventually but he's played well and been rewarded. Craig smith may not show up on the score sheet every night, but man he works his tail off. Good to see him fire a puck on net pick a point on the coyle goal. B's still need to take opportunities to shoot the puck. Its early in the season, no training camp/preseason the passing is a touch out of sync. Lets take some shots and the passing will come along.
The Seattle situation is obviously looming, but lets enjoy it for now. There are plenty of variables that can happen between now and then.

Game 1 vs NJD Player Evaluations
That third pair looked really solid... Zboril was really poised with the puck. Seemed eager to get SOG and maybe forced a few, but he looked comfortable in his own end and transition. Kase obviously lacked finish, but his puck pursuit and forechecking was solid as well. biggest disappointment for me was studnicka, just got hit off of a lot of pucks, seemed to have trouble making plays through the neutral zone. Hopefully he bounces back Saturday

This is true! Who knows, I mean with nobody claiming him there is no "Need to wrap up the experiment". He will bounce between the AHL and NHL and if he finds his spot he finds his spot! Who knows!
Also ignore VR1995 lmaooo he hasnt given a good arguement yet and I see him on many bruins and non-bruins posts (including my own) calling fans Homers whenever they disagree with him. Lol a true definition of a baby.
I love how he tried doing a side comment with u calling me a Guru like he is in the right here, but clearly he is not :)
I just looked back to make sure I wasnt ****ing this one up, and I am not. He has changed his argument about 5 times to make me wrong, and I have disproven all of them lol
Started with tryna tell me their prospect pool is bad, which I said "I dont disagree, but they are still underrated (which is true), I was talking about their future". So he changed to saying their future is bad which i pointed out is the point of this post lmaoooo, their future ISNT bad! Then when he got upset about that he started arguing about Senyshyn lmaooooo... He just keeps tryna find some way to say I am wrong

See this team very much at a cross roads now. And it seems Sweeney is sitting in the fence.</div></div>
I think the plan is incredibly clear: go into the season trying to find out how good the young d men are, and how good the team is. If the team is good, acquire a d man at the deadline.

:applaud
Someone with some sense.
One thing to add. Boston has 10 guys in the mix. 9 of them are out of options. Adding more creates an even bigger problem. If Miller is healthy than one of Lauzon, Zboril, Clifton, or Moore will have to be placed on waivers, 2 of them have no chance of clearing.
If they add any more D men they have to make a trade somewhere to alleviate that issue.

Totally agree. We have a lot of depth on the back-end. We have 3 top 4 guys and about 7 5-6 guys. If one of those 5-6 guys step up (which I think one will) theyll be just fine. If not, go after a Hjalmarsson or someone cheap at the deadline to shore up the back-end

They are 5 months away from winning the presidents trophy. They lost a one dimensional dman and added a great depth forward. I hate that take

A+ ACGM. Only thing I disagree with is the notion that this team is done trading picks. That D group could easily come together and play fantastic. This team could be a contender with a clear hole that they need to fill.
Or they could take a step back. Or a big step back. Tough to tell.

Idk if anyone's mentioned him but I'm high on or maybe more of have high hopes for Curtis Hall out of Yale. I dont really know much about him other than that he had a stellar year this past collegiate season. But seeing him break out at the college level is somewhat intriguing to me, maybe a late bloomer kind of like Marchy was? But I think your overall list is pretty spot on overall.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>nalzugaray12</b></div><div>I always tend to forget Curtis Hall as a prospect and I'm not sure why- I like him and honestly he's a Tier 3 player in my eyes.
Only one I'd consider moving up is Zboril to Tier 3. I can't justify Wolff and Senyshyn until I see it. We will have a pretty good understanding of Seny and Zboril's future this season. Wolff is a hit or miss, his size and playstyle will more than likely earn him a future look as a #7-#8 range defenseman. We'll see though
JFK is interesting, he's just forgotten. Didn't look particularly bad in his stint, didn't look great either. If he's making it, it will be bottom 6 depth. I didn't hate his playstyle back in 2019, he just wasn't good enough to be a consistent 3rd liner.</div></div>
Seny has more NHL experience than Zboril and looked a lot better. Seems odd you wouldn't move them both up. Wolff for me will get a shot because of his game and size. A 6'5/230lb bruiser that loves to play physical and throw fists will always find a home as a 3rd pairing or 7th d-man. Wolff I think ends up as an Adam McQuaid type of guy.
I like JFK a lot and thought at worst he'd be a 3C defensive specialist. Rumors are there were family health issues back home (part of why he went back), but from looking at the box scores and reading some reports it doesn't sound like his career is heading the right direction.

Beecher for me is like a tier 2.5 as I could see him as a middle 6 kind of guy. I'd also say the following:
Move to Tier 3: Zboril, Senyshyn, Wolff
Move to Tier 4: JFK
I think the guys draft this year are "to new to evaluate" and wouldn't even have them on there. Could also include Curtis Hall (C/RW for Yale). He projects as a bottom 6 guy.
