I imagine that either Warren or Luneau is penciled in to be the 1RD for us, but unless we get the 1st OVR pick, I could see us trying to take Levshunov to be the 1RD of the future.

I mean... that's a brutal hand to be dealt for Philly, so kudos for getting something back, but man I LOVE this for Anaheim. They've got unreal defensive prospect depth that frees them up to land a guy who I think is gonna be a real impactful player.

As a canes fan: I love it,
As a pens fan: I would like to file a police report, this type of assault should not go unpunished

Tampa gets a decent middle six winger.
San Jose gets a disbarred lawyer will who sue video game developers.
Even trade.

Not really sure why this had to happen now? Quite a sizeable gamble if you ask me. His age, play style, and health are all major red flags to me. The term is what makes this a bad contract. You want to give him this extension? Fine. But it's about 4 years too long. This would scare me if I was a Caps fan.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>OutDoorRinkBoy</b></div><div>Overpayment.</div></div>
Alex Killorns Skating has gotten so much better since he turned 29/30 much better skater than 2013-2017 Killorn. Which is IMO a big reason his point totals have increased since. Some guys figure out how to train better in their late 20's early 30's Killorn seems to be that guy.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>IconicHawk</b></div><div>What the ducks wanted to give him: 4M

There was no arbitration ruling dingbat, they came to terms before the arbitration hearing. If Terry had been awarded an arbitration award, it would have been a two year maximum contract.
Terry submitted 8 to the Arbitrator, Anaheim submitted 4.5. 6.25 would have been the middle ground the arbitrator would have centered around, they gave him 7 with term.

That was just an arbitration number, it's standard salary negotiation tactics. Arb number would have been around 6.5, arbitration filing was just to put some pressure on the situation to get it done.

I really feel he has not gotten the attention he's deserved around the league. Between Anaheim doing really badly over all, Zegras being so flashy, and MacTavish dominating the world juniors, I feel like he has kind of just been missed by the hockey world at large. Good contract.

You all are being way too harsh. Last I checked, teams still need 4th line grinders to eat a few minutes a night.
