The deal everyone was hoping for. Very team friendly, locked him up long term but not too long.

I'd have given him an extra million to round it up to 50, but hey, I guess the 142k each year was a deal killer tears of joy

Easily one of my fav players outside of the Leafs.

Bit of a down year last year but this contract should age just fine.


Over the last 2 seasons, Troy Terry leads the Ducks in:

Could be looked at as a biggg steal when the Ducks are contending in a few years. Good value for both sides immediately though.

I really feel he has not gotten the attention he's deserved around the league. Between Anaheim doing really badly over all, Zegras being so flashy, and MacTavish dominating the world juniors, I feel like he has kind of just been missed by the hockey world at large. Good contract.

That was just an arbitration number, it's standard salary negotiation tactics. Arb number would have been around 6.5, arbitration filing was just to put some pressure on the situation to get it done.
