Would you be good with Chyti?. Younger and cheaper.

As much as I hate it but I could see Mika gone. I don't think Kakko is expensive unless he crushes next season. Might have overreached on the Coleman contract.

You're right. Tampa can't pay them even on a bridge. Maybe exchange Kratsov for Buch, but even still probably not enough.

Right, like you could go and add a second or third from Toronto to make it even. I didn't want a ridiculous ask... well more than what I did for Tampa.

It was talked about earlier in the season. I realize I probably could have got more from Toronto but didn't want people to think I was biased on NYR coming back with too much.

I hate the Lucic trade. I also think the Winnipeg Trade is a mistake to get the RFA rights of Trouba. I'm fine with a second, but giving them back that pick sounds like a mistake when he doesn't have to sign with us. I can't see Shattenkirk waiving his NTC either. He took a discount to play for the Rangers. He would probably want to stay.

I'm an idiot. Isn't he more of a winger? I know Capfriendly puts him at Center but I've seen him only play center for Russia in the world juniors. Although I could understand you converting him if Andersson is traded away. Either way, fair play.

I agree no Panarin means that you have to weaponize cap space. I think Callahan coming back would come with a high level prospect or a mid prospect and a mid rounder. I think Krieder for Trouba makes more sense. I don't know if Vesey goes to AZ. I see it a lot on here but I have't seen any articles pointing that out. I think Name brings back two thirds.

Brendan Smith is not worth a 2nd round pick period. I'm also not in love with the Skinner signing.

I can't see Shattenkirk waiving the no movement clause to go to AZ. Curious to see what picks you could see coming back for a lot fo forward depth that I don't think AZ actually wants.

Namesnikov's value I think is still high from his time with the Lightning. I have no idea, what he was worth and I was fishing for something. I think if not the Avs, I could see Boston or Dallas going to him for depth. I think with the rebuild, he is not long for the roster either way.

Everything must Go
There's a lot here. I doubt Shesterkin and Rykov play in the NHL this season as they adjust to the different rinks. The Shattenkirk for a second seems farfetched. He's been awful in his NYR stint. The other trades just seem broken. No way Nylander comes over, Serg too for that matter even for taking away Cally's cap hit.

Evolving Wild does a solid job in predicting contracts. Just going off the best numbers I had.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Bellairs</b></div><div>I gotta be honest. 8 years with that money is too long. I think max for Panarin is 6 at his age. Deangelo is getting way too long. He’s got talent but you take a huge risk with his off ice issues. Buch is getting way too little. Has to be in the 4-6 range. I’m not sure EDM wants to give up Yamamoto this early. I think if anything works it’s our 1st Kreider for their first. I also would like to believe they go for trouba in the Namestnikov trade not picks. I get the more picks the better but depending on how good we are next season, management might want to just go all in. We have great guys in the system. Also I’m positive Miller is staying another year in Wisconsin and Lunkvist is staying another year too</div></div>
I meant 2020-21 for Lundkvist and Miller. Good catch. I agree they will take the extra year. Yamamoto was kind of my pipe dream and I could easily see Georgie and Krieder along with a first to move up to #7. I'll be honest I don't know what prospect they would target, or if they have someone they have fallen in love with besides Kakko/Hughes. Vlad is still intriguing to me. I think a west coast team fits and I just figured Winnipeg is in the market for a middle six winger, and I felt the price was appropriate. I would much rather Trouba's RFA rights, but that's more doubtful than Yamamoto coming over in the trade deal. I'm paranoid that Panarin goes to Florida with Bob so the 7 year deal was done for that reason.

<a href="/users/ChytilMania" target="_blank">@ChytilMania</a> I appreciate the feedback. I tried keeing it realisitc. I'll be honest Vlad is a weird player because I think he still has a lot of hype with how he did with TB. He just has no plans with the NYR long term, like Strome or Spooner did. While Vesey is an overpayment, I think Brendan Smith's contract is more of a problem. I've seen the idea of Callahan coming back and TB giving more draft capital away as we give them much needed cap space, and considering we won't be competing for a cup for the duration of Cally's contract, we can weaponize the cap space that we would have. Vesey while an overpayment I think is a net positive because we've signed Fox and shown other college free agents that the NYR can find a spot for you a la Hayes.

Fair. I think Krieder would fill an immediate hole for Edmonton. Fair point if he tests the market. You could throw in a conditional pick if they resign him. Winnipeg also needs a winger so I'd though Vlad would fit. I figured there would be hesitation from Dallas since they could possibly be giving up their first round picks if Zucc resigns and if they win tonight. As I don't think they'd have the assets. I think L.A is a garbage fire and would not take those contracts as they should be rebuilding sooner. I could also see Boston taking Vlad for two 3rds. Thanks for the input.
