If I was the GM
A good year to suck: Bedard or Michkov if you win the lottery.
There's also a 6'1" Slovak center projected to go top 5, how cool would that be:
Slafkovsky - Dvorsky - Mesar

Who the Habs should draft
Miroshnichenko doesn’t have a killer instinct. All the tools and talent in the world, and he just doesn’t put it together. A lot like Alexander Semin. Montreal needs a lot of everything so it would be between nemec and Cooley if I were the habs

Who the Habs should draft
Yurov is better than Miroshnichenko. He's skilled, fast, strong, responsible (so much that he played on the PK in the KHL this year despite playing 4 minutes per game) and has got IT. He's the next Svechnikov imo. So if not Wright, Jiricek, Nemec, Yurov, Cooley, Savoie in that order for me.

“5 goes to Nemec, excellent offensive D with an amazing transition game”
I mean and offensive RHD is Montréal’s biggest organizational hole right now. I’m not sure who’s better out of the options, but I would love to get someone like Nemec.

if we don't get one of the Big4 Centers (Wright, Savoie, Cooley, Geekie) we should be taking Nemec or Jiricek

MTL Rebuilding New Plan
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>seanross</b></div><div>My only goal was to get more picks and prospect + some cap room. It suck to say but we need to loose to get top prospect. The draft is almost the only place where you can gain elite players. We need those</div></div>
Exactly. It feels like a lot of folks struggle to accept such sobering realities but the reward is so wonderful. Hopefully it's improving.

MTL Rebuilding New Plan
I actually like this, I think... Thats a big price to pay for SEA to take on Price tho. Plus, Price would ave to waive in order to be exposed... Not likely but possible depending on the rest of the season. If the team keeps on losing and miss the playoffs, then Im sure theres a chance that Price would rather be close to home.

Unloading Weber alone is huge pun intended
They're left with 26M$ in cap space lol
That's absolutely brilliant
If this is viable it's absolute genius
Does anyone here appreciate that this is -very overtly stated- a rebuilding plan and then you can build from there: very easily thankfully given everything
They could actually elite players to big money
So many options

Who can you compare the habs prospect
I am also happy of our 3 first pick . Guhle is a good skater and has underrated offense. A prospect like him has a strong value when is time to make trades . I am very happy of Tuch pick. We never have young big prospect here because we never draft them. For sure , Tuch isn’t perfect ... we got him in the 2nd round. So I am happy we took a flyer with this big prospect . I think a comparable for Guhle is Jonas Brodin. Tuch: Jordan greenway, Nicolas Roy

Absolutely, I like the player and he is a great fit. I'm just curious to see if Lehkonen will be able to play in that spot. Tatar will 31 y/o in 2021-2022.

that's where I think youre wrong. We were only 4 points behind the leafs while missing Weber (up to Christmas). Now add Ghost and Duchene (not saying it will happen, but if it did).
Better D than the leafs/Bruins, Better goaltending, and more FWD depth. This team would sit 2nd in the Atlantic behind only Tampa Bay
