I don't give a rats a** how you feel, I'm not your shrink. But I think your are due for a visit.
Lay on a couch and tell him/her how your Leafs will be great next year with Hainsey, etc... etc...
(yes, I'm jealous, my team won 3 SC last 9 year, and you will never win one with $40M tied in top 4F)
Kind regards,

With Liljegren and Sandin knocking on the door.</div></div>
Lol, yes, good luck next year. And you need 1RHD, those are cheap now a days. and you need like 23 roaster. And a back-up goalie, ideally.
If only GM had a bit more confidence in his youth, they would have been a contender next year and for the next 5. But no, he had to sign Tavares. LOL Bring Sharp from retirement, put some skates on him, put him next to Marner, he will score 30 for you. Why do you need 40+? You need D, badly

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>battadan</b></div><div>Saad is worth more than 2 2nd rounder,. the sens have 1000 picks coming the next 3 years. he is still a great player as much as people rip on him. i think anisimov is gone for a 3rd. dach is not playing 2nd line center this year. seabs can still eat some minutes as a 6-7</div></div>
Yes sure, but if I put 1st rounder for Saad there will be bunch of people screemeing that this is too much. And Seabs is a 7th D on my team. Anisimov is here for Gusev, this tandem scored more goals at World this year that Ovechkin + Malkin. So yes, I'll keep AA for one year at least, and when he helps Gusev adjust no Chicago and scores 20 goals doing this, he could be going out for a 2nd rounder. Anyone is 2nd C when you put him next to Kane and Lee, but its ok, move him down, move him to the RW, its irrelevant, the point is to show the possible lineup for next season, maybe it will happen in March.

Looks like KK and AJ game TOR good hometown discount. And Now TOR can trade one of them for a good Dman. That would be awesome, especially if this is Kapanen and especially if it to OTT, he still will be an RFA in 3 years, LOL.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>drewjenks</b></div><div>I think you forgot to put Horton on LTIR .... ;)
So that<strong> $6,900,000</strong> is more like <strong>$12,240,000 in cap space </strong>.
And replacing Brown with ... Petan / Bracco / Mikheyev / Marchment / Engvall / Korshkov ... will push it up to <strong>$13,500,000</strong> ish.
Which will likely make the team better in itself ... while also netting an asset in return.</div></div>
wow, excellent. The only problem you need like 3 good D to even be competitive, so at least $6-8 mil need to be spend there.

(CHI/CAR) - Forsberg, Forsling for De Haan, Saarela
Wow, CHI def won this one. When I saw DeHaan to CHI I automatically assumed Saad is part of the deal.
I think Gus is gone now, he can bring really nice return, possible top 6 LW or RW.
CAR if I were to guess is after Bob. Panarin is not coming to CAR or FL, maybe if no one else offer him anything decent, but thats hard to believe.

Yes, if Dach is slow, then yes. The faster player on CHI was Stalberg, lots of help :))
Listen, he is not slow player, his acceleration needs some work, but acceleration is much more important for wingers. C will play down low a lot, by the time he hits redline he'll be flying.

for NOTHING? TOR got Kapanen and Johnsson for it. Or about 60% of Marner. So its not nothing. Tor gave up 1st for acquiring Tavares, I mean any 3rd grader in Canadian school system could have told you that last year, that signing Tavares will cost you dearly. You will either lose Marner, or Kapanen or Jonhsson or 1st rounders etc... And yeah, you are not done.

(TOR/CAR) - Marleau, 2020 conditional 1st round pick, 2020 7th round pick for 2020 6th round pick
What will it take for Leaf's fans to finally admit that Tavares was the problem? But, no, its everything else, but not Tavares, he scored so many goals LOL.
Marleau was supposed to come and give some leadership to the kids, perfect plan. They could have been in playoffs last year, without Tavares. They would have been really good next year without Tavares.
And in 2 years they would have been contenders. And BTW all kids, Mathews, Nylander and Marner would all be asking for less money if Tavares wasn't signed. Dubas is very impatient GM.
Also, with all those contracts, 3 of them at $11M+ assuming they sign Marner, why the hell, do you give up 1st rounder, why not trade an RFA? I mean TOR will have to heavily rely on ELCs for the next 5 years. Why give up picks? geeezzz

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>HatterTParty</b></div><div>So, instead, Colorado gets byram and newhook, both A level prospects. We could have kept them from getting one of each, instead we take the safe choice. Dach can score all he wants, but I couldn’t care less about his scoring if the puck is in our net more. And by the way, this isn’t a puck travels faster league, being a fast skater matters, and the hawks are ridiculously slow.
I just hope we get another good lottery pick next year......</div></div>
Really??? this is not "puck passing league" lol Relax it will be fine... Strong, puck protecting players that can dish the puck are hard to find. He can be a force in playoffs, we need players like that, you can't win on speed alone. StLouis doesn't have that much speed, Was, Pitt, Chi, all those teams won cups and were at the average level in speed department.

The bottom line Byram is not proven defensively, Turcotte has some surgeries already. Dach, was heavily sourced by COL and they would have taking him over Byram if he was available I'm sure of it. And the fact that COL, who in desperate need of F prospects, picked a D instead, shows that Turcotte might have some weakness. For a big dude Dach has lots of skill, he doesn't need to be the fastest guy, he can protect the puck and he is also an excellent passer, and we all know puck is faster than any skater.

Ok people, lets not panic. Dach is fine. The kid just grew 3 inches last year, let him catch up, build some muscles, condition his legs etc...
He is a full package, his skills set is amazing, his size is great, his shot is great and will improve. And the way kid talk and behaves suggests that he is mature and humble.
He was facing shutdown players every game and did fine.
He is a good choice and I disagree that his ceiling is low. I'm sure we will be all surprised at how quickly he can get to the lineup and perform.

I like Boldy, but not over Dach. If CHI was still at #12, yes Boldy would have been the best choice.
The skills Dach have you can't fake, he can only improve going forward. He can only get stronger and yes, he can get a little quicker with proper conditioning. But to be fair, speed in not everything, puck control and streighs and drive and IQ, he can control the pace of the game, all very important. (Stalberg had speed). I remember few month back after watching all highlights on all prospects were all about Dach over Cozens, but because he didn't play in the world I moved on to Turcotte. I trust that CHI made a right call. We can still get Turcotte from LAK in few years, when he requests a trade from that hell.
