All In On 2023
I mean if I'm MTL I'm loving the idea of getting rid of Anderson for Bourgault and a 1st.
But if it happened Ken Holland should get fired immediately

splash in free agency
The players aren't the problem I'm just not sure this is the best direction to go for Seattle, I believe tanking is a much better option hockey wise for Seattle, I do like the Necas trade tho, and for both side Gourde is really good and you talk about Borgen as depth RD but he had pretty analytics for the short time he played so if DeAngelo walks he could find a 3rd pairing role in Carolina and Necas hasn't put it all together just yet and I could see Carolina moving him.

Can This Team Win It All
It's not terrible, they are some good idea in there but overall I do not think this team would win it all for 2 reasons.
1. That defence really isn't great relying on Cody Ceci as a Top 4 Dman is really scary, also I think you would have to pay to get rid of Barrie at this point he is a PP specialist who brings next to no value at 5 on 5 but getting a more defence oriented guy like Soucy is definitively a need. Getting a guy like Stetcher, Pysyk or Braun could be intresting
2. I'm not sold on Gibson analitcaly he has been not great for 4 years now and that's accounting for the defence in Anaheim, could bringing him to Edmonton and give him a chance to play for a really good team revive his career sure, it could , goalies are wild, but I am still not sold on it.
So basically I like where your mind is at but I'm not sure these moves are it.

21/32, unless there's a more recent version.
He also ranks prospects pool based on NHLe/points production, so it disadvantages team with defensive or 2-way defensemen like Guhle & Harris as their top prospects</div></div>
21 out of 32 for a team who is terrible is a horrible prospect pool considering the circumstance and Guhle actually profiles pretty well in his model and no matter how defensively minded a prospect is the production still has to happen in it's development. I'm gonna be honest I thought it was worse but I misremembered I still do think Habs prospect pool is overated by many fans and non-fans. I don't mean to thrash the team btw I'm a Habs fan I just really hate how the team has been ran for so many years.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>ZachHymanForTheHart</b></div><div>So you want an offensive-minded top 6 LW that does everything but get points … ?
Are you listening to yourself?</div></div>
Kerfoot isn't the primary Play Driver on his line his points didn't lead to goals the goals would have happened with someone else other than Kerfoot, he's barely at replacement level. Kubalik has suffered in terms of point production due to Chicago's coaching and his linemates. Kubalik actually has a higher offensive impact and is way better finisher than Kerfoot.
More specifically I want a Top 6 forwards who produces and has good underlying number which is not the case for Kerfoot.

Romanov . . . . . 18:46
Clague . . . . . . . 18:05
Kulak . . . . . . . . 17:19

Kulak is a bottom-pairing defenseman. You'll be doing well if someone gives you a fourth for him.</div></div>
Ducharme is not a good coach look they are playing Chiarot more than Petry and Romanov. And again TOI is not a indicament of skill.

Than get both but Leafs fan wanting Crouse is not the upgrade that will win them the cup. Personally, I think that Dermott or even Liljegren are fine in a second pair role and playing Kerfoot or Mikheyev in the Top 6 is really not Ideal.

Trading Marner After Our First Round Choke
So for an okay 3rd liner who is having a career year you are trading a future Top 4 Dman who has played good in a limited role, a good middle 6 forward with top 6 upside and a 2nd round pick.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>islandersfan14</b></div><div>2015 was probably the best draft year of the lat 20-30 years, maybe even ever</div></div>
And there still some Defenceman that I had to leave out, like : Brandon Carlo, Markus Nutivaara, Rasmus Andersson, Travis Dermott, Jonas Siegenthaler, Jérémy Lauzon, Caleb Jones. And for Forwards : Christian Fischer, Keegan Kolesar, Austin Wagner, Rudolf Balcers, Dominik Simon and Mason Appleton.
If you compare with the same idea i did earlier with the 2016 draft you can see how big is the gap, and 2016 isn't a bad draft it's a really good draft even.

Still he won't be a first pairng Dman and if I'm the Oilers In want some asset to potentially turn out to be an elite player espicially on the wing or on Defence. Well very much so on defence they got no elite defenceman right now and maybe Bouchard can develop into that.

I think you would want a better prospect than Vaakanainen I think he is damaged good at this point I would rather have Fabian Lysell or trade with another and get a sure fire prospect. Also I don't think trading Draisaitl is a good idea for the Oilers I would clear up the management first and then try to form a good Defence core.

Moving Zucker to clear up cap space next year =Good

He is still a good middle 6 Player and Kubalik is really good so it's the price to get him.

I would disagree that he's better than Toffoli but I thought he was a pending UFA so then yeah he probablly is worth more.
In that case Domi is a better trade target.
