Horrible deal for Tampa. Jones is elite, but so is Point. And if Tampa can't afford to sign Point long-term they could easily just bridge him for 3x6 million. I can't see how they can justify giving up one of the best young centers in the league, no matter what they get back. And adding a top 6 forward too? Also Vancouver is probably too committed to Horvat to accept that deal, but the value is fair

Good sass..... Admittedly Kuch on the 3rd was a mistake. Supposed to be second much like he was this season. So whoops.

Miller spent a fair bit of time on the 4th line this season. Moving up and down the lineup because his crazy versatility. This allows Tampa to blood a few rookies spacing them out across the lineup. So Check!

"Goulet" was second in points for the Crunch this season. If you're gonna test out a rookie why not try him on the first line and see what happens. So Check!

Cups arent won in December. Tampa knows how to win the regular season so they can probably afford to experiment with a few prospects early in the season.

But what would I know, I've never seen a hockey game.

Like I said I figure Point will be in Tampa for awhile. Anyone short of Kuch Vasi and Heddy are probably expendable to keep him. With McDonough and Stammer pretty untouchable.
Just thought I'd entertain the idea of moving Point. And if youre gonna, might aswell max the return. Colombus isnt in a place to move Jones since he's one of few certainties for next season. But him and Heddy would be insane.
