Hjalmarsson is not struggling and Arizona is not going to move him(at least not for that). They have a great top pair with OEL and Hjalmarsson.

If Nashville wants to spend 6m on other players, they may want to shed themselves of Turris....like almost give him away. Does any team want 6m X 5 years of Turris. I doubt it.

It's something like Zaitsev. Although he might provide value at 4.5m, teams would prefer to have 4,5m especially for five years to for cap flexibility. My own opinion is that Zaitsev is OK as NHL Dman. But is optimum trade value might be 1.5m retained for a 7th rounder. Turris value in a trade might be 2m retained for a 7th rounder.

Wouldn’t give up any asset for turris unless NSH retains 2+M in salary

The deal with Nashville is bad for Buffalo. Arizona will not give up Hjalmarsson for Scandella.
