Description
NJ Trade- Potentially a sweetener needed but I think they want help in both areas. Zacha is going to be their 4C so it makes sense to move him for help in other areas.

NYR trade- Rangers buyout Marleau with their cap space, get a pick for it and he becomes a UFA. I think this is the most realistic option (and I know they think they're going to sign Panarin, but I don't).

Chi trade- I had trouble settling on Murphy's value. He's a solid PK guy. Might be an overpay but I honestly had no idea.

Edmonton- Desperate for wingers and I think Larsson needs a fresh start. Not sure what else they might want but I think that's a good starting point at least.

I also think the Leafs sign a veteran forward to compete with some of the younger guys (and it's probably somebody who can also play centre). I picked Michael Haley because I met his dad in a bar one time and he paid for all of our drinks, but it doesn't have to be him.

Whoever is getting bumped out of the lineup when Hyman comes back can get demoted and that clears the cap space for him.

the rangers are rich and have cap space. That said, if they're going to pay 3.833 million dollars and eat 6.25 in cap space, they are going to need WAY more than a third rounder.

As part of the Chicago contingent, I'd pass, but I like Murph more than most do. Would rather have him than those two picks.

Agree, if hawks move Murphy it's for pieces to help now, hawks prospect cupboard is getting pretty full.
