Please inject that trade into my veins. Also I don't thin Djoos gets over 1M & I'd be pretty shocked if they sign DSP.

I think Djoos gets the same deal Bowey got (2x$1mil). And I doubt DSP comes back too. But I think the Caps should be the one getting an extra draft pick in that trade. Bura has actually put up some numbers in his NHL time. Even his "bad" years are still double digit goals and 25 points. Plus, he's got playoff experience and put up points in clutch moments.

While I agree with most of what you say. Poolparty is cheaper, bigger, more physical, has a higher upside and more desirable given Bura's 3.2 price tag. Both GM's need to move the players in question for different reasons. As a Cap fan I'd be happy with a straight one for one but I bet the Oilers want more a former top 4 pick.

I would LOVE to get Puljujarvi here. At that point, I think we may want to sign another Finnish player, even if it's just for the fourth line. Giving Puljujarvi a veteran Finnish mentor would be critical to helping him find his game, and if he does, this team is scary good in two years and we'd be able to stay in contention for a long time.

Forgive my ignorance but what source(s) do all of the Puljujarvi for Burakovsky rumors come from? Is this really a thing or just spitballin'?
