Will definitely need a better return for NSH if they are giving up Saros - he is being groomed as the next starter in net so it'll have to be worth it to trade him. This is just a couple of mid round picks and a prospect that can't crack the NHL

We've seen some trades recently of Saros. What is Preds motivation to trade him? Teams generally need at least two even three NHL calibre goalies. And to trade him for really nothing, don't see how the Preds can do it.
Is TVR really better than Ceci cause he better be. Cause for this year the Leafs lose NHLer...Johnsson and Ceci just to acquire TVR with those two trades I like the first rounder to Leafs it doesn't help this year...maybe not for years.

I do think the Canes and Leafs are back to being solid trade partners, and TVR is expendable for the right price. I’d personally like to give Fleury the rest of the season to truly see what we have.

I’m not sure that AJ is the target the Canes are after. I’d think Kappy or Bracco would be a better fit.
