Speaking as a Preds fan who sees Turris as great reclamation project who hasn't lost his skill - just a series of bad circumstances with injuries and Lavi's doghouse - I think Nashville should jump on this. Even if he gets back to his old self under Hynes, it will still take a full season + of impressive play from Turris for him to recoup any trade value. Essentially CBO'ing him without paying out any actual dollars, and getting a mid-round pick as a bonus? Hells yeah. That frees up a nice chunk of cap space to go towards re-signing/replacing Smith & Granlund. And if Turris keeps up the solid play he's shown since Lavi left Nashville, for the Sabres, I think they do well on this deal too. All the Turris haters on here, who treat his contract as worse than Andrew Ladd's are gonna roast you though.

No interest in moving McCabe or Miller for mid round picks. Would be much better off then with Having Jordie Benn playing in our top 6. Also would be exposing either Montour or Edmundson in the expansion draft
