Lmao that Sens trade makes zero sense for Ottawa. Markstrom isn't Signing here, and the Sens wouldn't try and sign him anyway. Even if he did, he would just leave as a free agent, why would he sign in Vancouver just so they could trade him? That's not a thing that happens.

This trade is laughably bad.

It just shows a complete lack of understanding of player trade values, and of the current position/desires or expectations of the Senators.

Sure, lets trade one of their most promising young RHD, and then a bunch of picks (including a 1st and two 2nds) at the bottom of a rebuild for a goalie who doesnt fit the timeline (who we would have to protect) and a guy who wasnt even claimed on waivers.
