Description
FLA is taking salary back on this deal which is why its a first rounder. Trade leaves the Leafs with a ridiculous top 6 on forward and the best top 4 D they've had in decades. Bottom 6 isn't the strongest in the league but theres a good mix of skill and grit down there. Bottom pair on D can enjoy sheltered minutes and develop as the season goes on.

Why would we trade Price for Weegar? 😜

Also the last thing we currently have 5 or 6 NHL LHD, so we’re fine without Dermott.

MTL is weak on LD, Dermott would be an upgrade

I don;t think they will be going after any more D, If you have seen Lehtonen play he will fit in nicely and you have to give the Kids ice time to grow. IF some how none of the young kids step up you go shopping at the deadline
