Considering Brodie is the exact type,style and price Toronto was looking for ,why imagine what it would be like to have the overpriced and lesser player in Shultz

Brodie is a much, much better fit for the Leafs. The 1M extra AAV is definitely worth it

I thought it could be comparable to the acquiring of Muzzin in 2019, both him and Schultz are Stanley cup-winners with a lot of experience playing with other great d-men.
But Brodie may be a better fit, we'll have to see.
