Hawks aren't giving away one of the old championship core for nothing in return. Keith would atleast cost a 2nd. But hey, welcome to capfriendly. Far from the worst trade I've seen on here.

Duncan Keith is still a very good dman. A couple things you need to consider when making these trade are "NMC" which are No Movement Clauses. Keith can say no to any trade proposal. Its in his contract. The other thing to consider is cap recapture. This one is more complicated and will die out in time, but if has HUGE cap ramifications against both EDM and CHI if Keith decides to retire.
