Description
Right now, the Leafs' biggest need is to upgrade goaltending. It's likely not going to happen if they don't make major changes as Andersen is the only big salary player coming off the books. They will need to resign Hyman and add a 4D, so technically they'll only have 1.5-2 million to add a good 1B goaltender.

They're going to need to outscore their problems next season by being the best play driving team in NHL history.

We aren't giving up Strome for a 2nd and a late 2nd at that. He's worth a mid 1st to late first but the Hawks have literally no reason to trade him for a bag of magic beans in the draft unless it's a mid 1st.

The fact you think you're getting hall for just above league minimum is such a joke. He stated he wanted to be on a team that would resign him, and considering his play in Boston they will most likely resign him. Either or that cap hit is an absolute joke and would probably result in Hall's agent blocking Dubas's number. Chicago isn't getting rid of Strome (with retention) for a second round pick. Don't need or want Chara. Signing a 30 year old to a 7 year deal is bound to end poorly. I'm starting to think you've never even watched a game of hockey. Although if in some parallel universe where McDavid is on a league minimum contract for 15 years, and this team exists I'd be pretty happy.
