I dont watch too many Avs games, but with Byram, Makar, and Girard, I'm shocked to hear the 8th/9th OA is a lowball offer. Is that really the case?

I would do that deal in a heartbeat. And I think that it's right on value. But Sakic has worked so hard to create a fabulous defensive unit that I doubt he would break it up even for the eighth or ninth overall pick.

he is a CRUCIAL piece for the avs he is the perfect balence between offense and defense and i would argue the he is are best all around defensemen right now
