Description

With Kreider and Trouba still having NMC its not looking good for the NYR. They cannot afford to keep all these young kids and these underachieving vets. Krider and Trouba will need to be off the roster in 22-23 to make the money work. This is with a bridge for Krav and Kakko. If somehow Kreider and Trouba waive their NMC then we will have to eat some salary to trade them or give up assets (I put this in here to).

This would have some chance of happening if all of this took place:

1. Kreider has a good year in 2021-2022.

2. Kreider waives his NMC for a Canadian team like Ottawa

3. Stutzle proves he can play centre in the NHL.

4. Rangers retains close to half of Kreider's salary.

Buyouts are cheaper than you think when the time comes, bridge contracts will stretch us out a bit to M-NTC. Plus with the cap rising it’s not nearly as bad
