Description
Greenway hasn't quite lived up to expectations. He has a huge frame and plays a good possession game, but he's been largely inconsistent offensively and leaves you wanting more most shifts. He definitely has his flashes as a dominant power forward and when that happens he can be very exciting. I think he could use a change in scenery.

Steel is sort of in a similar boat. He has the offensive tools, but hasn't produced yet. He's sort of buried in the Ducks lineup and won't get any opportunities in the top 6 at center with Zegras and Getzlaf. Wild could pair him with Fiala to give him a jump offensively.

Keep in mind the Wild run their lines pretty evenly, so while he isn't listed in the top 6 he'd still be getting quite a few minutes and likely PP time.

Make it a 4-way trade with Miles Wood and Cody Glass

I like where your head is at. I do think if we go player for player, a similarly aged d man would be of most benefit right now, given Jordie just doesn’t look the part. Thinking a guy like Dermott in TOR.

Not that I don't disagree with moving Greenway for Steel here. Technically.

But I do disagree with the notion that Greenway carries less value than Steel.

Steel currently should carry less value than Dylan Strome does, and Chicago fans agree that the difference in value for Greenway and Strome is likely a 4th or 5th round pick, in Minnesota's favor. If Greenway for Strome and a 4th/5th round pick is fair. Then it's only prudent that Anaheim adds in this instance. Likely a 3rd or 4th rounder, maybe even a 2nd given how little Steel has done in NHL to date.

That's just my .02 cents on it though.

Yeah wasn't sure on value. Greenway is a more proven, but I can hear the argument that Steel is a center and arguably has more upside/untapped potential. I'd welcome a pick from Anaheim but wouldn't be too upset if it were a 1 for 1
