Description
Most realistic…
1. Stars re-sign klingberg long term, then question if/how they’ll use Harley.
2. Bones isn’t back for next season. They replace him with Laxdall. The offense improves.
3. Stars miss playoffs, and don’t trade anyone of value to improve the team for next season. They then don’t re-sign Rads or Holtby, because they thought they were a playoff team a few months before under Bones.
4. Re-signing Klingberg puts a strain on what they can afford in other positions even though they opened up a lot of cap space with Rads and Pavs salaries dropping off.
5. Pavs is re-signed on the cheap.

But I’ll trade players. Yup.
THESE ARE TDL AND OFF-SEASON MOVES TO SET UP THE TEAM FOR NEXT YEAR

There's so many issues with this, but I'm going to point out the obvious one. You can no longer have conditions based on a player re-signing. It was scrapped in the COVID pause

Klinger is worth more than McMichael by himself. Add a first round pick. Take Dell out of the Rangers trade. Doubt you get anything good for Faksa

As much as I love Faksa and I do as I own his jersey, I don't see any chance that Vancouver would do that deal.

No chance Canucks give up Podkolzin for a 3rd/4th liner making over 3M
