-Sure, why not on Lehk. Taking on the likely raise that he'll get through arb, it pretty much means they'll lose Strome, but giver New York. (Side note: Shesterkin is absolutely the Vezina winner this year)
-Whatever on Perreault.
-Meh for Chiarot...Washington, Florida and New York are really the only 3 where it makes *any* sort of sense to spend a 1st for Chiarot (Meaning he'll actually play in their top 4). Assuming they won't be involved in Chychrun (I'd guess Florida/NYR would be), and if they miss out on Hampus, Giordano, why not. I mean, I wouldn't trade a 1st for him, but sure.
-Kulak for a 3rd? Whatever I guess...but I feel like Kulikov for a 4th last year is yet another example of GM's not giving 2 flying f*cks about shutdown LD's...
-That seems like a really, really bad move for Dallas. They open up cap space this offseason after getting of declining players, and then trade their top prospect and a 2nd for a declining player on a massive deal? No thanks.

I am with you on all of it, though how is Gallagher declining? And Dallas still wants to compete, I doubt they will just leave all that cap space open. They will want to fill it and filling it with a 30 goal scorer is never a bad idea. A move for a veteran is something they are known for doing many times over. Though they usually trade or sign the 32-35 year olds. This time they get a 29 year old.

I swear I’m a broken clock now, with all these Chiarot to DC trades.

Chiarot has no place in DC to justify that return. Fehervary and Orlov would automatically play over him, leaving him battling for the 3LD with TvR. A 3LD is not worth a 1st rounder for a team that has a less than optimal prospect pool, especially with Protas, Leason, and McMichael all getting NHL minutes this year.
