Honestly, this is probably around something the Hawks would take. The point of the offer being monster is to show that if you trade for DeBrincat, you're going to regret it.

Last thing the Devils need is another small forward who doesn't play physical. Debrincat is a great player, but Hughes and Bratt are too similar to him in terms of size and playing style.

If the Devils do decide to made a trade like this, they should do it for a player like Matthew Tkachuk (if he ever becomes available). Someone who can score goals, but also give the Devils a much needed physical element to their top 6.

It may be a surprise but DeBrincat can play the body and he's not afraid to go to the corners. He's no Matthew Tkachuk in terms of physicality but he a guaranteed 40+ goal scorer and can kill penalties if you need.
