MTL Accepts
Anyone described as "Han Solo" by Hockey Scouts on Elite Prospects has my Vote
First time i've ever seen the reference made

All jokes aside MTL prefers picks but This is a Jeff Petry type RD who hasnt learned to use his full frame yet but offensively is sound
His speed isnt good enough so positioning will define if he makes it to the NHL barring a skating coach

Dont really need Samsonov but given Price's unknown future taking him as insurance policy is wise

Washington definitely declines the Montreal trade. The only thing Allen improves in dc is the "veteran presence in net" but since WSH already has tons of vets in the locker room its not a problem. WSH also isn't a Lehkonen away from a cup and shouldn't be giving up the better goalie and WSH's only good RSD prospect.

These moves made this team significantly worse. Jarnkrok, Sanford, and Lehkonen are hardly upgrades over what Washington already has.

Oh someone doesn’t watch hockey, easy to spot
Jarnkrok is a big upgrade on Sprong and Lehkonen is a big upgrade on Sheary. Had to dump Hagelin & Sanford fits well on that 4th line

I actually watch at least 3 games a night on ESPN+ as well as the hawks games (Local) and make sure I watch different teams the next day, but thank you for your brilliant assumption.

Sanford is a prototypical 4th liner, one the Capitals already moved on from. They're not a team that often, if ever, brings back former players. There's a reason they moved on from him. You're taking offense out of the bottom 6 for grinders. Grinders the capitals have enough of. The capitals need to get faster if they legitimately want to contend. Adding grit doesn't improve their team.
