Description
I just want Slaf, favoured player from the draft

Big body in Zad to protect Merkley but also if he can continue his solid play from CAL (hoping) - he can be a nice piece to cover Merkleys mistakes (as he’s growing and there will be mistakes as a 2nd pair guy).

Labanc needs to move on from SJS, I’d honestly bet despite a good camp he wouldn’t be put on the 2nd line (which is where I think Chmelevski will slot in). Ambitious return which I’m fine with be lowered it’s just a good spot for him to get 100% opportunity and not be buried on the 4th line when he’s healthy like he was in SJ.

    No way NJ does this.

The only way SJ is getting #2 overall is if Meier is involved

Every devils fan and their mother trashed Meier last draft so we won’t waste your time again smile

But realistically Meier isn’t worth losing for this years 2nd - nothing against the ask just not with the ROI when Meier basically was a one man army last season without any crazy inflated numbers.

He’s much more valuable than 2nd in my opinion; which wouldn’t get the Devils interested in paying more. They shouldn’t be selling off assets for a forward.
