Description

Not a fan of the Ducks but just some thoughts. The Ducks are in a pickle with Gibson. On the one hand he's a top 10 goalie who recieved an all-star nod as recent as this past season. On the other hand he is injury prone and expensive. His stats over the last three years also don't back up the skills that I believe he still possesses. The teams that I think could trade for him include: Leafs, Oilers, Devils, Penguins if they don't believe in Jarry, as my main teams. Can't see an intra division trade so I went with the Leafs.

Shattenkirk and Holl can be moved at the deadline. Comtois moved somewhere to get a fresh start chose Detroit randomnly. Palat since you have the cap space and can help mentor those young players. Really nice future you guys have. My sympathies that you have Dallas Eakins

This team is below the cap floor. Why bring in Palat? This seems like a team looking to tank, so they overpay a free agent in his 30s on a long term deal?

They should not. 6.4m and a load of assets for someone who can't hold the pipes better than Stolarz. I'd pass. He could bounce back but I don't see the leafs giving up that much to role the dice. If they're wrong this team is sewered for years.
