From a Devils fan point. This is probably the most realistic proposal . Blackhawks don't need to trade him if they do it's going to be for a good return. This very good return if Smith gets back in form and Cooley/ Slafkovsky are as good as advertised. So if Fitz really wants the cat this is probably what you are looking at for him.
