what's the word on Robertson/Oettinger RFA deals? If Nill really wanted to get creative in replacing Klingberg, I'd try and bring those guys in at $8M combined, tell Montreal they're taking Faksa back to make the deal happen, and then I think you can land that plane and still be under the cap - maybe even wiggle out a little room if Anton Khudobin goes off into LTIRetirement (which I mean, seriously, dude, you're 36 and coming off hip surgery, just ride it out and collect that last $3M while staying home.)

Add about $4M to your combined prices for Oettinger and Robertson. If I had to give an educated guess, Robertson is going to see an extension in the neighborhood of $8M per year for an 8-year contract. Add in roughly $4M for Oettinger and there’s no cap for Dallas to make any other significant moves; not without moving out some significant cap first.
